أحمد:١٣٨٢٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

أَصَابَنَا مَطَرٌ وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَحَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ إِنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ

It rained upon us as we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) removed his cloth (from a part of his body) till the rain fell on it. We said: Messenger of Allah, why did you do this? He said: It is because it (the rainfall) has just come from the Exalted Lord.  

مسلم:٨٩٨ – وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ

أَنَسٌ أَصَابَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَطَرٌ قَالَ فَحَسَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ مِنْ الْمَطَرِ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا قَالَ لِأَنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ تَعَالَى  

abudawud:5100 – Qutaybah b. Saʿīd And Musaddad al-Maʿná > Jaʿfar b. Sulaymān > Thābit > Anas

أبو داود:٥١٠٠ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَمُسَدَّدٌ الْمَعْنَى قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

أَصَابَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَطَرٌ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَحَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ عَنْهُ حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا قَالَ لأَنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ  

ahmad:12365 – Bahz b. Asad > Jaʿfar b. Sulaymān > Thābit al-Bunānī > Jaʿfar Lā Aḥsabuh Illā > Anas

[Machine] "We were blessed with rain during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He went out and tucked up his garment until the rain reached him. It was said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah, why have you done this?' He said: 'Because it is a sign of Allah's covenant.'"  

أحمد:١٢٣٦٥ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ قَالَ جَعْفَرٌ لَا أَحْسَبُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

مُطِرْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ فَحَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ الْمَطَرُ قَالَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ لِأَنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ  

ذِكْرُ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلْمَرْءِ الِاسْتِمْطَارُ فِي أَوَّلِ مَطَرٍ يَجِيءُ فِي السَّنَةِ

ibnhibban:6135 – Muḥammad b. Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm a freed slave of Thaqīf > Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Jaʿfar b. Sulaymān > Thābit > Anas

[Machine] "We were caught in the rain while we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so it caused his garment to become soaked. We said, 'Why did you do this, O Messenger of Allah?' He replied, 'This rain is a sign of the promise of Allah.'"  

ابن حبّان:٦١٣٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

مُطِرْنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَحَسَرَ عَنْ ثَوْبِهِ لِلْمَطَرِ قُلْنَا لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ»

البيهقي:٦٤٥٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْفَرَّاءُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَرَشِيُّ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْإِمَامُ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَرْقَوْيِهِ ثنا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ غَالِبٍ النَّسَوِيُّ قَالُوا ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ أَنَسٌ أَصَابَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَطَرٌ قَالَ فَحَسَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ مِنَ الْمَطَرِ؛ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ لِأَنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ
