البزّار:٦٢٣٤ – حَدَّثنا محمد بن موسى الحرسي حَدَّثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ثابتٍ عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ أَصَابَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مَطَرٌ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَحَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى أصابه فقيل يارسول اللَّهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا قَالَ إِنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ ثابتٍ عَن أَنَس إلاَّ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سليمان

muslim:898 – Yaḥyá b. Yaḥyá > Jaʿfar b. Sulaymān > Thābit al-Bunānī > Anas

It rained upon us as we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) removed his cloth (from a part of his body) till the rain fell on it. We said: Messenger of Allah, why did you do this? He said: It is because it (the rainfall) has just come from the Exalted Lord.

مسلم:٨٩٨ – وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ

أَنَسٌ أَصَابَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَطَرٌ قَالَ فَحَسَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ مِنْ الْمَطَرِ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا قَالَ لِأَنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ تَعَالَى

أَصَابَنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَطَرٌ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَحَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ عَنْهُ حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا قَالَ لأَنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ

ahmad:12365 – Bahz b. Asad > Jaʿfar b. Sulaymān > Thābit al-Bunānī > Jaʿfar Lā Aḥsabuh Illā > Anas

[Machine] "We were blessed with rain during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He went out and tucked up his garment until the rain reached him. It was said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah, why have you done this?' He said: 'Because it is a sign of Allah's covenant.'"

أحمد:١٢٣٦٥ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ قَالَ جَعْفَرٌ لَا أَحْسَبُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

مُطِرْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ فَحَسَرَ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى أَصَابَهُ الْمَطَرُ قَالَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ لِأَنَّهُ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِرَبِّهِ

ahmad:13820 – ʿAffān > Jaʿfar b. Sulaymān > Thābit > Anas b. Mālik
