I asked al-Zubair : What prevents you from narrating traditions from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as his Companions narrate from him? He said: By Allah I was very close to him. But I heard him ﷺ say: He who lies about me deliberately will certainly come to his abode in Hell.

أبو داود:٣٦٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْمَعْنَى عَنْ بَيَانِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ وَبَرَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلزُّبَيْرِ مَا يَمْنَعُكَ أَنْ تُحَدِّثَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَمَا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْهُ أَصْحَابُهُ فَقَالَ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ كَانَ لِي مِنْهُ وَجْهٌ وَمَنْزِلَةٌ وَلَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ كَذِبًا عَلَىَّ لَيْسَ كَكَذِبٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ، مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ۔»

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ يُعَذَّبُ بِمَا نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ۔»

bukhari:107 – Abū al-Walīd > Shuʿbah > Jāmiʿ b. Shaddād > ʿĀmir b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Zubayr from his father > Lilzzubayr Innī Lā Asmaʿuk Tuḥaddith

I said to my father, 'I do not hear from you any narration (Hadith) of Allah s Apostle as I hear (his narration) from so and so?" Az-Zubair replied. l was always with him (the Prophet) and I heard him saying "Whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally) then (surely) let him occupy, his seat in Hellfire.

البخاري:١٠٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِلزُّبَيْرِ إِنِّي لاَ أَسْمَعُكَ تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَمَا يُحَدِّثُ فُلاَنٌ وَفُلاَنٌ قَالَ أَمَا إِنِّي لَمْ أُفَارِقْهُ وَلَكِنْ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

There is no harm in narrating from Children of Israel

bukhari:3461 – Abū ʿĀṣim al-Ḍaḥḥāk b. Makhlad > al-Awzāʿī > Ḥassān b. ʿAṭiyyah > Abū Kabshah > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence, and tell others the stories of Bani Israel (which have been taught to you), for it is not sinful to do so. And whoever tells a lie on me intentionally, will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire."

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever lies upon me intentionally, then let him take his seat in the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

muslim:4 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Numayr from my father > Saʿīd b. ʿUbayd > ʿAlī b. Rabīʿah > Atayt al-Masjid And al-Mughīrah Amīr al-Kūfah > al-Mughīrah

I arrived at the Masjid and al-Mughīrah, the Amīr of al-Kūfah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed a lie upon me is not like a lie upon anyone else, for whoever lies upon me intentionally, then he shall take his seat in the Fire."

مسلم:٤ – وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْمُغِيرَةُ أَمِيرُ الْكُوفَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ كَذِبًا عَلَىَّ لَيْسَ كَكَذِبٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ فَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

tirmidhi:2951 – Sufyān b. Wakīʿ > Sūwayd b. ʿAmr al-Kalbī > Abū ʿAwānah > ʿAbd al-Aʿlá > Saʿīd b. Jubayr > Ibn ʿAbbās

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Beware of narrating from me except what I taught you, for whoever lies about me on purpose, then let him take his seat in the Fire. And whoever says (something) about the Qur'an according to his (own) opinion, then let him take his seat in the Fire."

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan.

الترمذي:٢٩٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْكَلْبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ اتَّقُوا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِّي إِلاَّ مَا عَلِمْتُمْ فَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَنْ قَالَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ بِرَأْيِهِ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ

tirmidhi:2659 – Abū Hishām al-Rifāʿī > Abū Bakr b. ʿAyyāsh > ʿĀṣim > Zir > ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever lies upon me, then let him take his seat in the Fire."

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Convey from me, even if it be an Ayah, and narrate from the Children of Isra'il, and there is no harm, And whoever lies upon me purposely, then let him take his seat in the Fire."

ibnmajah:32 – Muḥammad b. Rumḥ al-Miṣrī > al-Layth b. Saʿd > Ibn Shihāb > Anas b. Mālik

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever tells lies about me', I (the narrator) think that he also said 'deliberately', let him take his place in Hell.'"

ابن ماجة:٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever tells lies about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell."

"I said to Zubair bin Awwam: 'Why do I not hear you narrating Ahadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as I hear Ibn Mas'ud and so-and-so and so-and-so?' He said: 'I never left him from the time I became Muslim, but I heard him say a word: 'Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell."

ابن ماجة:٣٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ أَبِي صَخْرَةَ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ مَا لِيَ لاَ أَسْمَعُكَ تُحَدِّثُ

ibnmajah:37 – Sūwayd b. Saʿīd > ʿAlī b. Mushir > Muṭarrif > ʿAṭiyyah > Abū Saʿīd

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever tells lies about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell."

ابن ماجة:٣٧ – حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

I said to az-Zubair ؓ : “Why donʿt I hear you narrating from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as I hear Ibn Masʿood and so and so, and so and so?” He said: “I never left him since I became Muslim, but I heard something from him: ʿWhoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.””

أحمد:١٤١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اتَّقُوا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِّي إِلا مَا عَلِمْتُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارَ

[Machine] Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ood, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever intentionally lies about me, let him prepare his place in Hell."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.”

أحمد:١٠٧٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ النَّرْسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ

ahmad:6486 – al-Walīd b. Muslim > al-Awzāʿī > Ḥassān b. ʿAṭiyyah > Abū Kabshah al-Salūlī > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence, and tell others the stories of Bani Israel (which have been taught to you), for it is not sinful to do so. And whoever tells a lie on me intentionally, will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3461)

أحمد:٦٤٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كَبْشَةَ السَّلُولِيُّ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَعْنِي يَقُولُ بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

ahmad:11344 – Abū ʿUbaydah > Hammām b. Yaḥyá > Zayd b. Aslam > ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār > Abū Saʿīd

Do not take down anything from me, and he who took down anything from me except the Qur'an, he should efface that and narrate from me, for there is no harm in it and he who attributed any falsehood to me-and Hammam said: I think he also said:" deliberately" -he should in fact find his abode in the Hell-Fire. أحمد:١١٣٤٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي شَيْئًا إِلَّا الْقُرْآنَ فَمَنْ كَتَبَ عَنِّي شَيْئًا فَلْيَمْحُهُ وَقَالَ حَدِّثُوا عَنِّي وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

ahmad:6888 – Ibn Numayr > al-Awzāʿī And ʿAbd al-Razzāq > al-Awzāʿī > Ḥassān b. ʿAṭiyyah > Abū Kabshah

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

ahmad:12154 – Yaḥyá > al-Taymī > Anas

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever lies against me, let him secure his place in Hellfire intentionally." He repeated this statement twice and added, "And whoever intentionally lies against me once."

أحمد:١٢١٥٤ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

[Machine] I heard Abu Hurairah saying, and he used to begin his narration by saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Abu Al-Qasim, the truthful and trustworthy one, whoever deliberately lies about me, should take his place in the (Hell) Fire."

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ وَكَانَ يَبْتَدِئُ حَدِيثَهُ بِأَنْ يَقُولَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الصَّادِقُ الْمَصْدُوقُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

ahmad:12764 – Ḥajjāj > Shuʿbah And Hāshim > Shuʿbah > ʿAttāb > Hāshim a freed slave of Banī Hurmuz > Anas b. Mālik > Lawlā > Akhshá

‘Whoever lies upon me intentionally, then let him take his seat in the Fire’. (Using translation from Muslim 3)

أحمد:١٢٧٦٤ – حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَهَاشِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَتَّابٍ وَقَالَ هَاشِمٌ مَوْلَى بَنِي هُرْمُزَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَخْشَى

أَنْ أُخْطِئَ لَحَدَّثْتُكُمْ بِأَشْيَاءَ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَكِنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ قَالَ هَاشِمٌ قَالَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَوْ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

ahmad:13100 – Yazīd And ʾAbū Qaṭan > Shuʿbah > Ḥammād > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "Abu Al-Qasim (Peace be upon him), whoever intentionally lied about me should take his place in the fire, and Abu Qatan did not say it intentionally."

ahmad:13189 – Sulaymān > Shuʿbah > Ḥammād And ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Rufayʿ Waʿattāb a freed slave of Hurmuz Warābiʿ Ayḍ Samiʿūā Anas

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَبِي كَذَا قَالَ لَنَا أَخْطَأَ فِيهِ وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ

أحمد:٢٢٥٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَسَمِعْتُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ مَوْلَى خَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ عُرْفُطَةَ قَالَ لِلْمُخْتَارِ هَذَا رَجُلٌ كَذَّابٌ وَلَقَدْ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ

ahmad:16916 – Rawḥ > Shuʿbah > Abū al-Fayḍ > Muʿāwiyah b. Abū Sufyān

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.”

أحمد:٥٨٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

الدارمي:٢٣٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَنبَأَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

الدارمي:٢٣٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

darimi:240 – Muḥammad b. Ḥumayd > al-Ṣabbāḥ b. Muḥārib > ʿUmar b. ʿAbdullāh b. Yaʿlá b. Murrah from his father from his grandfather

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 584)

[Machine] "That I may not mistakenly attribute to you things I have heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or things the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said, for I have heard him ﷺ saying, 'Whoever lies on me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Fire.'"

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Convey from me, even if it be an Ayah, and narrate from the Children of Isra'il, and there is no harm, And whoever lies upon me purposely, then let him take his seat in the Fire." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2669)

الدارمي:٥٥٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ عَنْ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

[Machine] Tell me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah, may peace and blessings be upon him. He said, "I fear that my tongue may slip into saying something that the Messenger of Allah, may peace and blessings be upon him, did not say. I have heard the Messenger of Allah, may peace and blessings be upon him, say, 'Beware of speaking excessively about me. Whoever intentionally lies about me should prepare his place in the Fire.'"

الحاكم:٣٨٠ – حَدَّثَنِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا عَتَّابُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَوْذَبٍ ثنا كَعْبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي قَتَادَةَ

حَدِّثْنِي بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَخْشَى أَنْ يَزِلَّ لِسَانِي بِشَيْءٍ لَمْ يَقُلْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِيَّاكُمْ وَكَثْرَةَ الْحَدِيثِ عَنِّي مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
