bukhari:1291 – Abū Nuʿaym > Saʿīd b. ʿUbayd > ʿAlī b. Rabīʿah > al-Mughīrah

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Ascribing false things to me is not like ascribing false things to anyone else. Whosoever tells a lie against me intentionally then surely let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire."

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "The deceased who is wailed over is tortured for that wailing."  

البخاري:١٢٩١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ؛ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ؛ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ؛ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ؓ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ كَذِبًا عَلَىَّ لَيْسَ كَكَذِبٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ، مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ۔»

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ يُعَذَّبُ بِمَا نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ۔»

There is no harm in narrating from Children of Israel

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence, and tell others the stories of Bani Israel (which have been taught to you), for it is not sinful to do so. And whoever tells a lie on me intentionally, will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire."

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever lies upon me intentionally, then let him take his seat in the Fire."

I arrived at the Masjid and al-Mughīrah, the Amīr of al-Kūfah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed a lie upon me is not like a lie upon anyone else, for whoever lies upon me intentionally, then he shall take his seat in the Fire."  

مسلم:٤ – وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْمُغِيرَةُ أَمِيرُ الْكُوفَةِ قَالَ فَقَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ

I asked al-Zubair : What prevents you from narrating traditions from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as his Companions narrate from him? He said: By Allah I was very close to him. But I heard him ﷺ say: He who lies about me deliberately will certainly come to his abode in Hell.  

أبو داود:٣٦٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْمَعْنَى عَنْ بَيَانِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ وَبَرَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِلزُّبَيْرِ مَا يَمْنَعُكَ أَنْ تُحَدِّثَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَمَا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْهُ أَصْحَابُهُ فَقَالَ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ كَانَ لِي مِنْهُ وَجْهٌ وَمَنْزِلَةٌ وَلَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

tirmidhi:2951 – Sufyān b. Wakīʿ > Sūwayd b. ʿAmr al-Kalbī > Abū ʿAwānah > ʿAbd al-Aʿlá > Saʿīd b. Jubayr > Ibn ʿAbbās

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Beware of narrating from me except what I taught you, for whoever lies about me on purpose, then let him take his seat in the Fire. And whoever says (something) about the Qur'an according to his (own) opinion, then let him take his seat in the Fire."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan.

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever tells lies about me', I (the narrator) think that he also said 'deliberately', let him take his place in Hell.'"

"I said to Zubair bin Awwam: 'Why do I not hear you narrating Ahadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as I hear Ibn Mas'ud and so-and-so and so-and-so?' He said: 'I never left him from the time I became Muslim, but I heard him say a word: 'Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell."

ibnmajah:37 – Sūwayd b. Saʿīd > ʿAlī b. Mushir > Muṭarrif > ʿAṭiyyah > Abū Saʿīd

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever tells lies about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell."

So, whoever intentionally lies about me, let him reserve his seat in the Hellfire.' And indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'Whoever imitates a people, he will be punished for what they are known for imitating.'"  

أحمد:١٨١٤٠ – حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّانُ بْنُ تَمَّامٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّائِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ الْأَسَدِيِّ قَالَ مَاتَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهُ قَرَظَةُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ فَنِيحَ عَلَيْهِ فَخَرَجَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ

مَا بَالُ النَّوْحِ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ؟ أَمَا إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ كَذِبًا عَلَيَّ لَيْسَ كَكَذِبٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ أَلَا وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ أَلَا وَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ عُذِّبَ بِمَا يُنَاحُ بِهِ عَلَيْهِ  

ahmad:18202 – Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Saʿīd b. ʿUbayd > ʿAlī b. Rabīʿah

[Machine] What is the matter with this cry in Islam? A man from the Ansar died and people wailed over him. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Verily, lying about me is not like lying about anyone else. So whoever lies about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.' I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Indeed, the one whom people wail over will be punished because of the wailing."  

أحمد:١٨٢٠٢ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ خَرَجَ يَوْمًا فَرَقِيَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ

مَا بَالُ هَذَا النَّوْحِ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَكَانَ مَاتَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَنِيحَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ كَذِبًا عَلَيَّ لَيْسَ كَكَذِبٍ عَلَى أَحَدٍ فَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ مَنْ نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ يُعَذَّبْ بِمَا نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ  

ahmad:6486 – al-Walīd b. Muslim > al-Awzāʿī > Ḥassān b. ʿAṭiyyah > Abū Kabshah al-Salūlī > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence, and tell others the stories of Bani Israel (which have been taught to you), for it is not sinful to do so. And whoever tells a lie on me intentionally, will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3461)  

أحمد:٦٤٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كَبْشَةَ السَّلُولِيُّ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَعْنِي يَقُولُ بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ

‘Whoever lies upon me intentionally, then let him take his seat in the Fire’. (Using translation from Muslim 3)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

ahmad:9350 – ʿAffān > ʿAbd al-Wāḥid / Ibn Ziyād > ʿĀṣim b. Kulayb from my father > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] I heard Abu Hurairah saying, and he used to begin his narration by saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Abu Al-Qasim, the truthful and trustworthy one, whoever deliberately lies about me, should take his place in the (Hell) Fire."  

أحمد:٩٣٥٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ وَكَانَ يَبْتَدِئُ حَدِيثَهُ بِأَنْ يَقُولَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الصَّادِقُ الْمَصْدُوقُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

ahmad:6888 – Ibn Numayr > al-Awzāʿī And ʿAbd al-Razzāq > al-Awzāʿī > Ḥassān b. ʿAṭiyyah > Abū Kabshah

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Convey from me, even if it be an Ayah, and narrate from the Children of Isra'il, and there is no harm, And whoever lies upon me purposely, then let him take his seat in the Fire." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2669)  

أحمد:٦٨٨٨ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ سَمِعْتُ الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا حَرَجَ وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

ahmad:11344 – Abū ʿUbaydah > Hammām b. Yaḥyá > Zayd b. Aslam > ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār > Abū Saʿīd

Do not take down anything from me, and he who took down anything from me except the Qur'an, he should efface that and narrate from me, for there is no harm in it and he who attributed any falsehood to me-and Hammam said: I think he also said:" deliberately" -he should in fact find his abode in the Hell-Fire. أحمد:١١٣٤٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي شَيْئًا إِلَّا الْقُرْآنَ فَمَنْ كَتَبَ عَنِّي شَيْئًا فَلْيَمْحُهُ وَقَالَ حَدِّثُوا عَنِّي وَمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

ahmad:12110 – Abū Muʿāwiyah > ʿĀṣim al-Aḥwal > Anas b. Mālik

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 584)  

أحمد:١٢١١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

ahmad:12154 – Yaḥyá > al-Taymī > Anas

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever lies against me, let him secure his place in Hellfire intentionally." He repeated this statement twice and added, "And whoever intentionally lies against me once."  

أحمد:١٢١٥٤ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ مُتَعَمِّدًا قَالَهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا  

ahmad:13100 – Yazīd And ʾAbū Qaṭan > Shuʿbah > Ḥammād > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "Abu Al-Qasim (Peace be upon him), whoever intentionally lied about me should take his place in the fire, and Abu Qatan did not say it intentionally."

أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ أَبُو قَطَنٍ مُتَعَمِّدًا  

ahmad:13332 – Isḥāq > Layth > Ibn Shihāb > Anas

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 584)   

أحمد:١٣٣٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ حَدَّثَنِي لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ قَالَ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

ibnhibban:6256 – ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. Salm > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ibrāhīm > al-Walīd > al-Awzāʿī > Ḥassān b. ʿAṭiyyah > Abū Kabshah al-Salūlī > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

الطبراني:٢٠٤ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى بْنِ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

الطبراني:٥٠١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيُّ قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَحُصَيْنُ بْنُ سَبْرَةَ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ إِلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي

سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَاي وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»  

tabarani:5019 – Muʿādh b. al-Muthanná And ʾAbū Muslim al-Kashhī > Musaddad > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Abū Ḥayyān al-Taymī > Yazīd b. Ḥayyān > Zayd b. Arqam

سَمِعَتْ أُذُنَاي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

الطبراني:٥٠٥٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 584)  

الطبراني:٨١٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْبَرْبَهَارِيُّ ثنا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلِيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلِيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِن النَّارِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ وَرَسُولَهُ ﷺ حَرَّمَا الْخَمْرَ وَالْمَيْسِرَ وَالْكُوبَةَ وَالْغُبَيْرَا»

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever says (something) about the Qur'an without knowledge, then let him take his seat in the Fire." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2950)   

الكبرى للنسائي:٨٠٣١ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ بِرَأْيِهِ أَوْ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ  

nasai-kubra:5883 – ʿAlī b. Ḥujr > Ismāʿīl > Sulaymān al-Taymī > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Fire." Anas narrated this twice, and then narrated it another time, saying, The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in the Fire."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٥٨٨٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ مُتَعَمِّدًا» قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ هَكَذَا مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ حَدَّثَنَا مَرَّةً أُخْرَى قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
