"Increase in remembrance of the severer of pleasures." Meaning death.  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Gharīb.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ هَاذِمِ اللَّذَّاتِ يَعْنِي الْمَوْتَ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ

ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ لِلْمَرْءِ بِالْإِكْثَارِ مِنْ ذِكْرِ مُنَغِّصِ اللَّذَّاتِ، نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ بَرَكَةَ وُرُودِهِ
