Messenger of Allah ﷺs said to me, "Will you relieve me from Dhul-Khalasa? Dhul-Khalasa was a house (of an idol) belonging to the tribe of Khath'am called Al-Kaʿba Al-Yama-niya. So, I proceeded with one hundred and fifty cavalry men from the tribe of Ahmas, who were excellent knights. It happened that I could not sit firm on horses, so the Prophet ﷺ , stroke me over my chest till I saw his finger-marks over my chest, he said, 'O Allah! Make him firm and make him a guiding and rightly guided man.' " Jarir proceeded towards that house, and dismantled and burnt it. Then he sent a messenger to Allah's Apostle informing him of that. Jarir's messenger said, "By Him Who has sent you with the Truth, I did not come to you till I had left it like an emancipated or gabby camel (i.e. completely marred and spoilt)." Jarir added, "The Prophet ﷺ asked for Allah's Blessings for the horses and the men of Ahmas five times."

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: Can't on rid me of Dhu'I-Khalasah, the idol-house of Khath'am, and this idol-house was called the Yamanite Ka'ba. So I went along with 150 horsemen and I could not sit with steadfastness upon the horse. I made the mention of it to Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he struck his hand on my chest and said: O Allah, grant him steadfastness and make him the guide of righteousness and the rightly-guided one. So he went away and he set fire to it. Then Jarir sent some person to Messenger of Allah ﷺ whose Kunya was Abu Arta to give him the happy news about that. He came to Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: I have not come to you (but with the news) that we have left Dhu'l-Khalasah as a scabed camel. Thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ blessed the horses of Ahmas and the men of their tribe five times.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Will you not relieve me of the Zul-Khalsah house in Khath'am, which was worshipped in the era of ignorance and was called Ka'bah Al-Yamaniyyah?" He said, "So we went to it with fifty and one hundred riders." He said, "So we destroyed it or set it on fire until we left it like a tamed camel." He said, "Then Jarir was sent to the Prophet ﷺ to give him the good news about this." He said, "So when he came to him, he said, 'By the One who has sent you with the truth, O Messenger of Allah, I did not come to you until we left it like a tamed camel'." He said, "So the Prophet ﷺ blessed Ahmas and its horses and men five times." He said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I am a man who is not skilled in riding horses,' so he placed his hand on my face until I felt its coolness, and he said, 'O Allah, make him a guide and a guided one'."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to Ja'arir, "Won't you relieve me from this headache?" Ja'arir replied, "So I hated that and I was a man who could not keep up on horseback, so he struck me with his hand on my chest until I saw the mark of his fingers." Then he said, "O Allah, make him steadfast and guide him." So I burned it with fire. Ja'arir sent a man from us to the Prophet, ﷺ , called Abu Arta'ah. He came to the Prophet, ﷺ , and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I swear by the One who sent you with the truth, I did not come to you until I left it as if it were a stubborn camel." So he blessed the horses of Ahmas and its men five times.
