"I heard Sa'd bin Abu Waqqas say: 'I am the first of the Arabs to shoot an arrow in the cause of Allah.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 131)   

الطبراني:٣١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ يَقُولُ «إِنِّي لَأَوَّلُ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ»

«أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح
