[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her and she invited him to food, so he invited her to eat with him. She said, "Indeed, I am fasting." He said, "Verily, when a fasting person eats in his house, the angels invoke blessings upon him until they have finished eating and drinking."

الطبراني:٢١٦١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلُ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ لَيْلَى مَوْلَاةٍ لَهُمْ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَدَعَتْ لَهُ بِطَعَامٍ فَدَعَاهَا تَأْكُلُ مَعَهُ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ «الصَّائِمَ إِذَا أَكَلَ فِي بَيْتِهِ دَعَتْ لَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يَقْضُوا أَكْلَهُمْ وَيَفْرَغُوا»

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ entered upon her, so she offered him food. He said to her, 'Eat.' She responded, 'I am fasting.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Verily, when a person who is fasting is offered food in his presence, the angels send prayers upon him until they finish eating, and perhaps they continue praying until they have finished their food.'"

"I heard a freed slave of ours called Laila narrated from [his (Habib's) grandmother] Umm Amarah bint Ka'b Al-Ansar, that the Prophet entered upon her and some food was brought to him. He said: 'Eat.' She said: 'I am fasting.' So the Messenger of Allah said: 'Indeed the angels send Salat upon the fasting person when (others) eat in his presence, until they finish.' And perhaps he said: 'Until they have eaten their fill.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 785)

أحمد:٢٧٤٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ عَنْ مَوْلَاةٍ لَهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهَا لَيْلَى تُحَدِّثُ

عَنْ جَدَّتِي وَهِيَ أُمُّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتُ كَعْبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَقَرَّبَتْ إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا فَقَالَ لَهَا كُلِي فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى الصَّائِمِ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغُوا

ابن حبّان:٣٤٣٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَوْلَاةً لَنَا يُقَالُ لَهَا لَيْلَى تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَدَعَتْ لَهُ بِطَعَامٍ فَقَالَ «تَعَالَيْ فَكُلِي» فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الصَّائِمَ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ»

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad entered upon her, so she offered him food. He told her to eat, but she said she was fasting. He ﷺ said, "Indeed, when a fasting person is offered food in his presence, the angels pray for him until they finish or he finishes his meal."
