[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad entered upon her, so she offered him food. He told her to eat, but she said she was fasting. He ﷺ said, "Indeed, when a fasting person is offered food in his presence, the angels pray for him until they finish or he finishes his meal."  

البيهقي:٨٥١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ إِمْلَاءً وَأَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْإِمَامُ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ قَالَا أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَطَّانُ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَوْلَاةً لَنَا يُقَالُ لَهَا لَيْلَى تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَدَّتِي أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَدَعَتْ لَهُ بِطَعَامٍ فَقَالَ لَهَا كُلِي فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ فَقَالَ ﷺ إِنَّ الصَّائِمَ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغُوا أَوْ قَالَ وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ حَتَّى يَقْضُوا أَكْلَهُمْ

"I heard a freed slave of ours called Laila narrated from [his (Habib's) grandmother] Umm Amarah bint Ka'b Al-Ansar, that the Prophet entered upon her and some food was brought to him. He said: 'Eat.' She said: 'I am fasting.' So the Messenger of Allah said: 'Indeed the angels send Salat upon the fasting person when (others) eat in his presence, until they finish.' And perhaps he said: 'Until they have eaten their fill.'"  

الترمذي:٧٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَوْلاَةً لَنَا يُقَالُ لَهَا لَيْلَى تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّةِ

[Machine] The prophet ﷺ entered upon her, so she brought food closer to him. He said, "Come closer and eat." She said, "I am fasting." He said, "When a fasting person is offered food, the angels send blessings upon him."

ابن حبّان:٣٤٣٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَوْلَاةً لَنَا يُقَالُ لَهَا لَيْلَى تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَدَعَتْ لَهُ بِطَعَامٍ فَقَالَ «تَعَالَيْ فَكُلِي» فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الصَّائِمَ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ»

He said, "Verily, when a fasting person eats in his house, the angels invoke blessings upon him until they have finished eating and drinking."  

الطبراني:٢١٦١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلُ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ لَيْلَى مَوْلَاةٍ لَهُمْ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ عُمَارَةَ بِنْتِ كَعْبٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَدَعَتْ لَهُ بِطَعَامٍ فَدَعَاهَا تَأْكُلُ مَعَهُ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ «الصَّائِمَ إِذَا أَكَلَ فِي بَيْتِهِ دَعَتْ لَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يَقْضُوا أَكْلَهُمْ وَيَفْرَغُوا»
