[Machine] Ammaar insulted me during the time of the Prophet ﷺ , so I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, if it were not for you, Ibn Sumayyah would not have insulted me." He ﷺ said, "Wait, O Khaled! Whoever insults Ammaar, Allah will insult him, and whoever belittles Ammaar, Allah will belittle him."
[Machine] "He complained to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, 'I feel fearful at night.' The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'Shall I not teach you some words that Jibril (Gabriel), ﷺ , taught me? He claimed that a jinn from the jinn intends to harm me.' The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'I seek refuge in the complete words of Allah, which no righteous or wicked person can surpass, from the evil of what descends from the sky and what ascends in it, and from the evil of what is scattered on the earth and what comes out of it, and from the evil of the trials of the night and the trials of the day, and from the evil of the night wanderers and day prowlers, except for those who come with goodness. O Merciful One!'"
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to me, "Shall I not teach you words that if you say them before sleeping, you will be protected?" Say: "O Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, Lord of all things visible and invisible. Be my protector from the evil of all jinn and human beings. Do not let anyone among them harm me. O Mighty Neighbor, I seek refuge in Your greatness and praise. There is no god but You."
[Machine] On the authority of Abu Abdullah Al-Ash'ari, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man who did not complete his bowing (ruku') properly, and he was pecking in his prostration (sujood) while praying. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If this man were to die in this state, he would die on a religion other than the religion of Muhammad ﷺ ." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The example of the one who does not complete his bowing properly and pecks in his prostration is like a hungry person who consumes a date or two, which do not benefit him in any way." Abu Salih said, "I asked Abu Abdullah, 'Who informed you about this?' He said, 'It was reported by the commanders of the armies: Amr ibn Al-Aas, Khalid ibn Al-Waleed, and Shurahbil ibn Hasana. They heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .'"
[Machine] "And Hind (India) was within us on that day in Basra, and I hated it. A man stood up and said, 'O Abu Sulayman! Fear Allah, for the trials have emerged.' He asked, 'Is Ibn al-Khattab alive?' The man replied, 'He has passed away, and the people are in a state of Biliyan and Dhi Biliyan in such and such a location.' The man pondered, wondering if he would find a place where he would not be affected by the trials and evil, but he did not find it. He said, 'Those are the days that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ described as the days of 'Harj.' We seek refuge in Allah that we and you may not live to see those days."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If anyone could escape from the grip of the grave, it would be this child."
"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Measure your food, may you be blessed therein."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2231)
I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Angels do not enter the house in which there is a dog or a statue. (Using translation from Muslim 2106b)
[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: 'Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not enter the bathroom except with a covering. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let your women not enter the bathroom.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to be served food and something from it would affect him, and then he would send it to us and we would be given food that was not affected by it at all. So I said to the woman, "Don't rush," then I went to the Prophet, ﷺ , and mentioned that to him. He said, "I dislike the smell of this vegetable." Abu Ayyub said, "Indeed, I dislike what you disliked, O Messenger of Allah."
[Machine] "I have never prayed behind your Prophet ﷺ except that I heard him saying when he completed his prayer, 'O Allah, forgive me for my mistakes and sins all together. O Allah, revive me, reform me, provide for me, guide me to righteous deeds and good manners. Indeed, no one can guide to righteousness and keep away from evil except You.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said "O Khalid, announce to the people that the congregational prayer is obligatory and no one will enter Paradise except a Muslim soul." Then he left and performed the prayer with the migrants.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Khalid, announce to the people that prayer is obligatory, and no one enters paradise except a Muslim soul." Then he left and prayed with the migration (prayer).
[Machine] Khalid ibn Al-Walid sent me with the messenger of Allah ﷺ on a military expedition, and we encountered a group of people who professed their oneness in faith. 'Ammar said, "These people have captured us because of their belief in oneness." I did not pay attention to 'Ammar's words, but I said to myself, "Shall I not inform the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" When we arrived before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , I complained to him. When the Prophet ﷺ saw that he was not seeking retribution from me, he turned away and his eyes were filled with tears. The Prophet ﷺ then said to me, "O Khalid, do not curse 'Ammar. Whoever curses 'Ammar, Allah will curse him, and whoever hates 'Ammar, Allah will hate him, and whoever regards 'Ammar as foolish, Allah will regard him as foolish." Khalid then said, "O Messenger of Allah, seek forgiveness for me, by Allah, nothing prevented me from loving him except my ridicule of him." Khalid said, "There is nothing more fearful in my sins in my eyes than my ridicule of 'Ammar."
[Machine] There was a conversation between 'Ammaar and Khalid ibn Al-Waleed, which Khalid ibn Al-Waleed complained about to the Prophet ﷺ . The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, whoever opposes 'Ammaar, Allah will oppose him, and whoever insults 'Ammaar, Allah will humiliate him." Shu'bah said: Salamah said something similar to this.
[Machine] I have not done a deed that is more frightening to me than the possibility of being admitted to the Fire because of what Ammar did. So we said, "O Abu Sulaiman, what did he do?" He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me with a group of his companions to a village in the Arabian Peninsula, and I encountered them. Among them were Muslim families. Ammar spoke to me about some of his companions and said, 'Send them.' I said, 'No, not until I bring them to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. If he wishes, he will send them, and if he wishes, he will deal with them as he pleases.' So I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Ammar sought permission to enter and he was granted. He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, did you not see what Khalid did? He did such and such.' Khalid said, 'By Allah, if it were not for your meeting, Ibn Sumayyah would not have insulted me.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Leave, O Ammar.' So he left while he was crying. He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not support me against Khalid.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'Did you not answer the man?' So I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I did not respond to him except because of his insignificance.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever belittles Ammar, Allah will belittle him, and whoever insults Ammar, Allah will insult him, and whoever humiliates Ammar, Allah will humiliate him.' So I left and followed him and spoke to him until he sought forgiveness for me."

[Machine] There was some tension between me and Ammar bin Yasir. So I went to him and scolded him. He then went to the Prophet ﷺ to complain about me. When I saw him complaining to the Prophet, I also went to him. The Prophet said, "Wait, O Khalid, say nothing but good, for whoever dislikes Ammar, Allah dislikes him, and whoever opposes him, Allah opposes him." When I heard that, I started to approach Ammar until I met him. I apologized to him and asked what he held against me.

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Khalid bin Al-Walid to a group of people from Khath'am, and they sought protection by prostrating themselves, but he killed them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ pardoned them for half of the blood money, and then he said, "I am innocent from every Muslim who lives with the polytheists and does not see their punishment."

[Machine] I got married during my father's lifetime, so my father granted permission. Abu Ayoub was among those who granted permission, and they had hidden my house with a green canvas. Then Abu Ayoub came forward and entered, and he saw me standing and looked around and saw the house hidden with a green canvas. He said, "O Abdullah, are you hiding the curtain?" My father said, "And he felt shy when women were more dominant. O Abu Ayoub, those who fear being dominated by women, I did not fear that you would be dominated." Then he said, "I will not provide you with food or let you enter my house." Then he left, may Allah have mercy on him.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spent a month with me, and I witnessed that when the sun was rising or setting, he would refuse to engage in any worldly matters. And if he was sleeping, it was as if he had been awakened, so he would get up, perform ablution or take a bath, then he would pray four units of prayer with completion, excellence, and strength. When he intended to leave, I said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ , what do you think of yourself when the sun is rising or setting? If you have any worldly affairs in your hands, you refuse them, or if you are asleep, it is as if you have been awakened, so you perform ablution or take a bath, then you pray four units of prayer with completion, excellence, and strength?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the gates of heaven or the gates of Paradise are opened at that time, and no one misses this prayer. So I wanted to ascend to my Lord at that time, as it is better."

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came down upon me, I said, "By my father and mother, I dislike being above you and you being beneath me." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Be kind to us and let us be beneath those who shelter us from the people." I saw a jug that had broken, and its water was being poured out. So, Umm Ayyub and I got a piece of cloth that we had and used it to dry the water with the intention that none of it would reach the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to harm him. We used to prepare food, and when there was something left over, we would sprinkle it with the sites of his fingers and eat from it, seeking blessings. He returned our hospitality one night and we put garlic or onions in it, but we did not see any trace of his finger marks in it. I mentioned to him what we used to do and what we saw. He said, "I found the smell of this tree on it, and I am a man who whispers (converses with Allah). I did not like the smell of me to be found on it. But as for you, eat it."

He passed by Muawiyah and he declined to give him anything. Then he returned from his expedition and passed by him again, and he declined to give him anything and did not even lift his head. Abu Ayub then said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed me that we will see his sign after him." Muawiyah asked, "What is your request?" Abu Ayub replied, "We were commanded to be patient." Muawiyah said, "Then be patient." Abdullah ibn Abbas came from Basra and Ali ordered him to provide for him. Abdullah said, "O Abu Ayub, I intend to move you out of my home just as I did for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." So he ordered his family to leave, and he gave him everything and closed the house for him. When he was about to leave, Ali asked him, "What is your request?" Abu Ayub said, "My request is my gift and eight slaves who work on my land." Ali had originally given him four thousand and then increased it five times, giving him twenty thousand and forty slaves.

Abu Ayyub said, "Leave your companion to inform you about the 'hathiya' of the Prophet, ﷺ , as I think it is, rather I am certain that the 'hathiya' of the Prophet, ﷺ , is to say, 'O Lord, whoever testifies that there is no deity except You alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is Your slave and Messenger, and his heart verifies what his tongue utters, Paradise will be incumbent upon him.'"
