[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "For the traveler, there are three days and their nights, and for the resident, there is one day and one night. He should wipe over his socks when he enters them and when he has pure feet.”
[Machine] There were men among us who, when they came out of the toilet, would wash away the traces of the toilet. This verse was revealed about them: "In it are men who love to purify themselves."
كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِنَّا إِذَا خَرَجُوا مِنَ الْغَائِطِ يَغْسِلُونَ أَثَرَ الْغَائِطِ فَنَزَلَتْ فِيهِمْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {فِيهِ رِجَالٌ يُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَتَطَهَّرُوا}

[Machine] A woman was stoned during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , and the people said that her deeds were in vain. When the Prophet ﷺ was informed of this, he said, "It is the expiation for her sins, and she will be resurrected based on her other good deeds."
[Machine] I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, is it permissible to eat rabbit?" He replied, "I neither eat it nor prohibit it." I said, "But I will not abandon eating it unless you prohibit it." He said, "Indeed, it menstruates or he said, it bleeds." I said, "What about the hyena?" He said, "Whoever eats hyena?"
“I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, I have come to you to ask you about the vermin of the earth. What do you say about mastigures?’ He said: ‘I do not eat them and I do not forbid them.’ I said: ‘I will eat of that which you have not forbidden. But why (do you not eat them), O Messenger of Allah?’ He said: ‘One of the nations was turned into beasts and I looked at this creature and was uncertain.’ I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about rabbits?’ He said: ‘I do not eat them and I do not forbid them.’ I said: ‘I will eat of that which you have not forbidden. But why (do you not eat them), O Messenger of Allah?’ He said: ‘I have been told that it menstruates.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3245)

[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the birds of prey of the land, and he said, "Ask about whatever you want." So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me about the lizard?" He said, "I do not eat it nor do I prohibit it. I have been informed that a nation from the Children of Israel has been transformed into animals in the land." So I said, "I will not leave anything that you have not forbidden without eating it." He said, "I said that I do not eat it and do not prohibit it because I have been informed that it menstruates." So I said, "I have not left anything that you have not forbidden without eating it." I said, "What about the fox?" He said, "Does anyone eat the fox?" I said, "What about the hyena?" He said, "Does anyone eat the hyena?" I said, "What about the wolf?" He said, "Does anyone eat the wolf? Is there any good in it?"
[Machine] "And he said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'And Khaled ibn Al-Walid mentioned: what a great servant of Allah and a brother of the tribe, and a sword from the swords of Allah.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ , when he eulogized the people of Mu'tah, said: "Then he took the flag, a sword from the swords of Allah, Khalid ibn Al-Walid, so Allah granted him victory."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mourned the people of Mu'tah from the pulpit, then he said, "Then Khalid bin Al-Waleed, while holding a sword from the swords of Allah, took charge."
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not harm Khalid, for he is a sword among the swords of Allah, sent by Allah upon the disbelievers."
[Machine] "So I patiently held onto a Yemeni sheet with my hands."
[Machine] Khuraym ibn Aws was one of the most hostile people towards the Arabs. After we finished dealing with Musaylimah and his companions, we headed towards the direction of Basra and encountered Hurmuz in the region of Kazimah, amidst a large gathering. Khalid emerged and challenged him to combat. Hurmuz accepted the challenge, but Khalid killed him. Khalid then wrote to Abu Bakr As-Siddiq about this and Abu Bakr granted him the spoils, which included a hundred thousand dirhams from Hurmuz. The Persians used to offer a hundred thousand dirhams to anyone who managed to kill a prominent figure.
[Machine] They sought it and found it to be a gown that had been created. Khalid said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed 'Umrah and shaved his head, so the people started seeking pieces of his hair. I rushed ahead of them to the end of his forehead and placed it in this gown. Whenever I carried it with me in battles, I was granted victory, and I never witnessed any fighting while it was with me except that I was blessed with triumph."
[Machine] "O people of Quraysh, indeed Allah Almighty has not made any preference for your faces over our faces, except as Allah has preferred His Prophet Muhammad. Khaled said, 'Take revenge.' The man said to his nephew, Tamim, 'When he raised his hand, he said, 'Leave it to Allah.'"
[Machine] "From a hand while you are young. Indeed, with me, there is a group of people who love killing in the way of Allah, just as a Persian loves wine. And peace be upon those who follow guidance."
[Machine] I heard Qais ibn Abi Hazim saying, "Khalid ibn al-Walid's mother is wearing a garment."
[Machine] When Khalid ibn al-Walid arrived in Hira, he said, "Bring me the poison." So it was brought to him, and he held it in his hand, then he said, "In the name of Allah," and he consumed it, but it did not harm him.
[Machine] "In the name of Allah, the most merciful, the most compassionate."
[Machine] Well, then, what is between us does not reach our religion.
[Machine] "Your disbelief, not your glory; indeed, I have seen Allah has humiliated you."
[Machine] "I sought death, but it was decreed for me to die on my bed. There is no deed more hopeful than 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no god but Allah) while I am fully armed." Then he said, "When I die, look at my weapons and my horse and make them a provision in the way of Allah."
8.3 [Machine] Who is named Khalid?
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) entered upon Maymunah and she presented to him a cooked goby fish with dates. Maymunah said, "Inform the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) before he eats." When he was informed, he withdrew his hand from it. They said, "Is it prohibited, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, but I prefer to abstain from it." Khalid Ibn Al-Walid then made him try it and he ate it while the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) looked at him.
[Machine] Al-Qa'bi and Ibrahim bin Bashshar narrated that Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah narrated from 'Amr bin Dinar, who narrated from Abu Najih, who narrated from Khalid bin Hakim bin Hizam, who said: Abu 'Ubaidah bin al-Jarrah approached a man from the people of the land and spoke to him. Khalid bin al-Walid was asked, "Did the commander get angry?" He said, "I did not intend to make him angry, but I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, 'The people who will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection will be those who inflict the severest punishment on others in this world.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought two roasted lizards, and Khalid ibn al-Walid was with him. The Prophet ﷺ desired to eat them, so it was said to him that they were lizards. He then grabbed them with his hand and Khalid ibn al-Walid said to him, "Is it forbidden, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "No, but they are not found in my people's land, so I find them delicious." Khalid then ate, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was watching him.

It is a lizard. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hand. I (Khalid) asked: Is it forbidden, Messenger of Allah? He replied, No, but it is not found in the land of my people, so I find it distasteful. Khalid said: I then pulled it and ate it while The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was seeing. A woman said, "Inform the Prophet ﷺ of what this is." They said, "It is gazelle meat that Um Hufaid gave to Ma'imunah." The Prophet ﷺ intended to eat from it, but Hiram said, "Are you not in a state of consecration, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, but I find myself weakened, and it is not the food of my people." The Messenger of Allah said to Abu 'Ubaidah bin Jarrah: "This is the trustworthy man of this Ummah." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 136)

[Machine] I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Jews came to complain to him that people were encroaching upon their lands. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me and I called out to the people, "Verily, prayer is mandatory and nobody will enter Paradise except a Muslim." When the people gathered, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and said, "Why did the Jews complain that you have encroached upon their lands? Know that it is not permissible to take the wealth of the treaty people unlawfully. It is forbidden for you to use their riding animals or belongings, and every creature with fangs from the wild beasts and every creature with claws from the birds is prohibited."
