[Machine] Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari perished in the year fifty in the territory of Rome while fighting alongside Yazid.  

الطبراني:٣٨٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَدِينِيُّ فُسْتُقَةُ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ عَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ قَالَ

«هَلَكَ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ سَنَةَ خَمْسِينَ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ وَهُوَ غَازٍ مَعَ يَزِيدَ»
