The Prophet ﷺ used to make this dua:

rabbi ighfir lī khaṭīʾatī wa-jahlī, wa-isrāfī fī amrī kullih, wa-mā anta aʿlamu bihi minnī. allāhumma ighfir lī khaṭāyāya, wa-ʿamdī wa-jahlī wa-hazlī, wa-kullu dhālika ʿindī. allāhumma ighfir lī mā qaddamtu wa-mā akhkhartu, wa-mā asrartu wa-mā aʿlantu, anta al-muqaddimu wa-anta al-muʾakhkhir, wa-anta ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr

(My Lord, forgive me my sin, my ignorance, and my excess in all of my affairs, and what You know better than I do. O Allah, forgive me my mistakes, my deliberate acts, my ignorance, and my jesting, and all of that is found in me. O Allah, forgive me what I have sent forward and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have made public. You are the One who brings forward and You are the One who delays, and You have power over all things.)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ:

«رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي كُلِّهِ، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي. اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطَايَاىَ وَعَمْدِي وَجَهْلِي وَهَزْلِي، وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي. اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ».

The Prophet ﷺ used to invoke Allah, saying, "Allahumma ighfirli khati'ati wa jahli wa israfi fi ʿAmri, wa ma anta a-'lamu bihi minni. Allahumma ighfirli hazali wa jiddi wa khata'i wa amdi, wa kullu dhalika 'indi."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَدْعُو اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي هَزْلِي وَجِدِّي وَخَطَاىَ وَعَمْدِي وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي

" O Allah, forgive me my faults, my ignorance, my immoderation in my concerns. And Thou art better aware (of my affairs) than myself. O Allah, grant me forgiveness (of the faults which I committed) seriously or otherwise (and which I committed inadvertently and de- liberately. All these (failings) are in me. O Allah, grant me forgiveness from the fault which I did in haste or deferred, which I committed in privacy or in public and Thou art better aware of (them) than myself. Thou art the First and the Last and over all things Thou art Omnipotent."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي جِدِّي وَهَزْلِي وَخَطَئِي وَعَمْدِي وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

When the Prophet ﷺ uttered salutation at the end of the prayer, he used to say: "O Allah, forgive me my former and latter sins, what I have kept secret and what I have done openly, and what I have done extravagance; and what You know better than I do. You are the Advancer, the Delayer, there is no god but You."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَفْتُ وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَدْعُو اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَإِسْرَافِي وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to invoke these supplications: "O Allah, forgive me for my sins, my ignorance, and my excessive behavior in my affairs, and for what You know better about me. O Allah, forgive me for my seriousness, my joking, my mistakes, my deliberate sins, and all of that which I have with me."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهَؤُلَاءِ الدَّعَوَاتِ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطَايَايَ وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي جِدِّي وَهَزْلِي وَخَطَئِي وَعَمْدِي وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "O Allah! Indeed, I seek your forgiveness for what I have done in the past and what I will do in the future, what I have made public and what I have concealed. You are the One who brings forward and the One who delays, and You are capable of all things."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لَمَّا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ»

" O Allah, forgive me my faults, my ignorance, my immoderation in my concerns. And Thou art better aware (of my affairs) than myself. كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ «رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي وَجَهْلِي وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطَايَايَ وَعَمْدِي وَجَهْلِي وَجَدِّي وَهَزْلِي وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ»

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَفْتُ وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي أَنْتَ الْمُقَدَّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»

"اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي مَا قَدَّمْتُ ومَا أَخَّرْتُ ومَا أسْرَرتُ ومَا أَعْلَنْتُ، وَمَا أنْتَ أعْلَم بِه مِنِّي أَنْتَ المقَدِّمُ وأَنْتَ المُؤخِّرُ لَا إِلَهَ إلا أنْتَ".

"اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أسْرَفْتُ وَمَا أنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي أنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ" .
