"عَنْ عَبْد الله بْنِ شَدَّاد، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ. خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ الله ﷺ فِى إِحْدَى صَلاَتىْ العَشِىِّ: الظُّهْرِ أَوْ العصْر وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ حَسنًا أَوْ حُسَيْنًا، فَتَقَدَّمَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ فَوضعَهُ تمَّ كبّرَ فِى الصلاَةِ، فسجَدَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَىْ صَلاَتِهِ (* *) سَجْدَةً أَطَالهَا" فَرَفَعْتُ رَأسِى، فَإِذَا الصَّبِىُّ عَلَى ظَهْرِ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ، فَرَجَعْتُ فِى سُجُودِى، فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ الصَّلاَةَ، قَالَ النَّاسُ: يَارَسُولَ الله، إِنَّكَ سَجَدْتَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرانَىْ صَلاَتِكَ سجدة أَطَلْتَهَا حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ قَدْ حَدَثَ أَمْرٌ أَوْ أَنَّهُ يُوحى إِلَيْكَ. قَالَ: كُلَّ ذلكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ، وَلَكِنَّ ابْنِى ارْتَحَلَنِى فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُعَجِّلَهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِىَ حَاجَتَهُ".

My father said, "I raised my head among the people, and behold, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was prostrating, and the boy was riding on his back. So I went back and prostrated. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished, the people said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you prostrated in this prayer, a prostration we have not seen you do before. Were you commanded to do so, or did something specific inspire you?'" He said, "All of that was not the case, but my son rode on me, so I disliked to hurry him until he had satisfied his need."

[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us during one of the prayers, either noon or afternoon prayer, while carrying Al-Hasan or Al-Hussein. He went forward and placed them near his right foot, and the messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrated for a long time. I lifted my head among the people and saw that the messenger of Allah ﷺ was prostrating and the boy was riding on his back. So, I sat down and prostrated. When the messenger of Allah ﷺ finished, some people said, "O messenger of Allah, you prostrated in this prayer in a way that we have never seen before, something you were commanded to do or something that was revealed to you?" He replied, "No, that was not the case. Rather, my son was riding me, so I disliked to hurry him until he fulfills his need." The narration is authentic.

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished, the people said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you prostrated in your prayer in a manner that we have never seen you do before. Was it something that you were ordered to do or was it revealed to you?' He said, 'None of that. My son was riding on my back, so I disliked hurrying him until he had completed what he needed to do.'"

" دُعِىَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ لِصَلاَةٍ، فَخَرَجَ وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ حَسنًا أوْ حُسَيْنًا فَوَضَعَهُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ فَسَجَدَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَىْ صَلاَته سَجْدَةً أَطَالَ فِيهَا، فَرَفعْتُ رَأسِى مِنْ بَيْنِ النَّاسِ، فَإِذَا الغُلاَمُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ ، فَأَعَدْتُ رَأسِى فَسَجَدْتُ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ القَوْمُ، يَارَسُولَ الله، لَقَدْ سَجَدْتَ فِى صَلاَتِكَ هَذِهِ سَجْدَةً مَا كنتَ تَسْجُدُهَا أفَكَانَ يُوحى (*)؟ ، قَالَ: لاَ، وَلكِنَّ ابْنِى، ارْتَحَلَنى فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُعْجِلَهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِىَ حَاجَتَهُ".
"كُل ذلِكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ، وَلَكِن ابْنِي ارْتَحَلَنِى فكَرِهْتُ أن أعجِلَهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَه". حم، ن، والبغوى، طب، ك، ق، ض عن عبد الله بن شداد بن الهاد عن أبيه: أن النبي ﷺ سَجد فركبه الحسن فأطال السجود، فقَالوا: يا رسول الله! سجدت سجدةً أطَلتَهَا حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ قَدْ حَدَثَ أمرٌ أو أنَّه يُوحَى إِلَيكَ. قَال: فذكره، قال البغوي: وَلَيسَ لِشدَّاد مُسنَدٌ غيره .
