10. Sūrat Yūnus

١٠۔ سُورَةُ يُونس

10.24 Declare that guidance has come - now to follow or not to follow is now your choice.

10:108 Say, "O mankind, the truth has come to you from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for ˹the benefit of˺ his soul, and whoever goes astray only goes astray ˹in violation˺ against it. And I am not over you a manager."  109 And follow what is revealed to you, ˹O Muhammad˺, and be patient until Allah will judge. And He is the best of judges. 
١٠:١٠٨ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَكُمُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِي لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا ۖ وَمَا أَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ بِوَكِيلٍ ۝ ١٠٩ وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيْكَ وَاصْبِرْ حَتَّىٰ يَحْكُمَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ ۝

108 Say: ‘O people, that is, people of Mecca, the Truth has come to you from your Lord. So whoever is guided, is guided only for the sake of his own soul, since the reward of his being guided will be his, and whoever errs, errs only against it, since the evil consequence of his erring shall befall ˹only˺ it ˹his soul˺. And I am not a guardian over you’, that I might then compel you to ˹accept˺ guidance.

١٠٨ {قل يا أيها الناس} أي أهل مكة {قد جاءكم الحق من ربكم فمن اهتدى فإنما يهتدي لنفسه} لأن ثواب اهتدائه له {ومن ضل فإنما يضل عليها} لأن وبال ضلاله عليها {وما أنا عليكم بوكيل} فأجبركم على الهدى.

109 And follow what is revealed to you, from your Lord, and endure ˹patiently˺, the Call and their hurting ˹you˺, until God give judgement, concerning them, by giving His command, and He is the Best of Judges, the fairest of them: he ˹the Prophet˺ endured patiently until God judged that the idolaters be fought and that the People of the Scripture pay the jizya-tax. Meccan, except for verses 12, 17, and 114, which are Medinese; it consists of 123 verses, and was revealed after Yūnus.

١٠٩ {واتبع ما يوحى إليك} من ربِّك {واصبر} على الدعوة وأذاهم {حتى يحكم الله} فيهم بأمره {وهو خير الحاكمين} أعدَلهم، وقد صبر حتى حكم على المشركين بالقتال وأهل الكتاب بالجزية.
