"A vessel would be brought to the prophet ﷺ then he would pour water on his hand three times and wash them, then he would pour water with his right hand onto his left and wash off whatever was on his thighs. Then he would wash his hands, rinse his mouth and nose, pour water on his head three times, then pour water over the rest of his body."  

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ ؓ فَسَأَلَهَا عَنْ غُسْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُؤْتَى بِالإِنَاءِ فَيَصُبُّ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا فَيَغْسِلُهُمَا ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ بِيَمِينِهِ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ فَيَغْسِلُ مَا عَلَى فَخِذَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ وَيَتَمَضْمَضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ وَيَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ يُفِيضُ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ  

"I asked 'Aishah about how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Ghusl from Janabah. She said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pour water onto his hands three times, then he would wash his private part, then he would wash his hands, then rinse his mouth and nose, then pour water onto his head three times, then pour water over the rest of his body.'" عَنْ غُسْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ؟ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ ثُمَّ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّيَتَمَضْمَضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to avoid urinating in standing water. A vessel containing water would be brought to him, and he would pour it onto his hands, washing them before putting them in the water. Then he would put his right hand inside the vessel and pour water from it onto his left hand, washing his private parts. After that, he would rinse his mouth and nostrils three times, wash his face and arms, and then scoop up three handfuls of water and pour them over his head. Finally, he would pour water all over his body.  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَجْنُبُ فَيُوضَعُ لَهُ الْإِنَاءُ فِيهِ الْمَاءُ فَيُفْرِغُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَيَغْسِلْهُمَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُمَا فِي الْمَاءِ ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَيُفْرِغُ بِهَا عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى فَيَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ ثُمَّ يُمَضْمِضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَغْسِلُ وَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَغْرِفُ ثَلَاثَ غَرَفَاتٍ فَيَصُبُّهَا عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ  

"I asked 'Aishah about how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Ghusl from Janabah. "Aishah described how the Prophet ﷺ performed Ghusl for Janabah. She said: 'He used to wash his hands three times, then pour water with his right hand onto his left and wash his private part and whatever was on it.' - (One of the narrators) 'Umar said: "I think he said: 'He would pour water with his right hand onto his left hand three times.'" - "Then he would rinse his mouth three times and his nose three times, and wash his face and hands three times, then he would pour water over his head three times, then pour water over himself.'" وَصَفَتْ عَائِشَةُ غُسْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ قَالَتْ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَغْسِلُ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ يُفِيضُ بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى فَيَغْسِلُ فَرْجَهُ وَمَا أَصَابَهُ ثُمَّ يُمَضْمِضُ وَيَسْتَنْشِقُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَغْسِلُ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ يُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ»
