He who patiently endures the hardships of it (of this city of Medina), I would be an intercessor or a withness on his behalf on the Day of Resurrection.

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whoever remains patient in the face of its hardships and its adversities, I will intercede or bear witness for him on the Day of Resurrection."

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Whoever endures the difficulties and hardships of a disaster, I will intercede for him on the Day of Judgment, or be a witness for him."

الكبرى للنسائي:٤٢٦٦أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَصْبِرُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى جَهْدِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَلَأْوَائِهَا فَيَمُوتُ إِلَّا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَفِيعًا أَوْ شَهِيدًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِذَا كَانَ مُسْلِمًا»
