Jabir b. 'Abdullah al-Ansari (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Mecca and Qutaiba (another narrator) stated that he entered Mecca in the Year of Victory, wearing a black turban, but not wearing the Ihram.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ وَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ دَخَلَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ بِغَيْرِ إِحْرَامٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdulla that the Prophet entered on the day of the Conquest of Makkah wearing a back Imamah, without being in Ihram.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ بِغَيْرِ إِحْرَامٍ
On the Day of the Conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah [SAW] entered (the city) wearing a black turban, and he was not in Ihram.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ بِغَيْرِ إِحْرَامٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «دَخَلَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ وَبِغَيْرِ إِحْرَامٍ»
It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdulla that the Prophet entered on the day of the Conquest of Makkah wearing a back Imamah, without being in Ihram. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2869)
