ibnmajah:2837Muḥammad b. al-Ṣabbāḥ > Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > ʿUmar b. Kathīr b. Aflaḥ > Abū Muḥammad a freed slave of Abū Qatādah > Abū Qatādah

It was narrated from Abu Muhammad, the freed slave of Abu Qatadah (from Abu Qatadah) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ awarded him the spoils of a man whom he killed on the Day of Hunain.  

ابن ماجة:٢٨٣٧حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَفَّلَهُ سَلَبَ قَتِيلٍ قَتَلَهُ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ
