ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الدَّالِّ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّاوِيَ لِلسَّفَرِ الَّذِي ذَكَرْنَاهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ أَنْ يَقْصُرَ حَتَّى يُخَلِّفَ دُورَ الْبَلْدَةِ وَرَاءَهُ

ibnhibban:2744 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Junayd > Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Ḥammād b. Zayd > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ prayed the Dhuhr prayer (noon prayer) with four units of prayer in Madinah, and he prayed the Asr prayer (afternoon prayer) with two units of prayer in Dhu al-Hulayfah. Anas reported that he heard the people shouting for the Hajj and Umrah during these prayers.  

ابن حبّان:٢٧٤٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ» قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسٌ «وَسَمِعَهُمْ يَصْرُخُونَ بِهِمَا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ»

Anas bin Malik said, "The Prophet ﷺ offered four rakʿat of the Zuhr prayer in Medina and two rakʿat of ʿAsr prayer at Dhul-Hulaifa." I think that the Prophet ﷺ passed the night there till morning.  

البخاري:١٥٤٧ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَالَ وَأَحْسِبُهُ بَاتَ بِهَا حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ  

bukhari:1548 – Sulaymān b. Ḥarb > Ḥammād b. Zayd > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Anas

The Prophet ﷺ offered four rakʿat of the Zuhr prayer in Medina and two rakʿat of the ʿAsr prayer in Dhul-Hulaifa and I heard them (the companions of the Prophet) reciting Talbiya together loudly to the extent of shouting.  

البخاري:١٥٤٨ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ قَالَ

صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالْمَدِينَةِ الظُّهْرَ أَرْبَعًا وَالْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَسَمِعْتُهُمْ يَصْرُخُونَ بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا  

bukhari:2951 – Sulaymān b. Ḥarb > Ḥammād > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Anas

The Prophet ﷺ offered a four-rakʿat Zuhr prayer at Medina and then offered a two rakʿat ʿAsr prayer at Dhul-Hulaifa and I heard the companions of the Prophet ﷺ reciting Talbiya aloud (for Hajj and ʿUmra) altogether.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said four rak'ahs in the noon prayer while at Medina, but he offered two rak'ahs in the afternoon prayer at Dhu'l-Hulaifa.  

مسلم:٦٩٠a – حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَيَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

nasai:477 – Qutaybah > Ḥammād > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Anas b. Mālik

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Prophet ﷺ prayed Zuhr in Al-Madinah, four Rak'ahs, and he prayed 'Asr in Dhul-Hulaifah, two Rak'ahs.  

النسائي:٤٧٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

ahmad:12934 – Ismāʿīl > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Anas b. Mālik

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said four rak'ahs in the noon prayer while at Medina, but he offered two rak'ahs in the afternoon prayer at Dhu'l-Hulaifa. (Using translation from Muslim 690a)

أحمد:١٢٨١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِأَرْبَعًا وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

"I prayed Zuhr with the Prophet ﷺ in Al-Madinah, four Rak'ahs and 'Asr in Dhul-Hulaifah, two Rak'ahs." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 469)   

أحمد:١٢٠٨٣ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا وَالْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ  

ذِكْرُ الْإِبَاحَةِ لِلنَّاوِي السَّفَرَ الَّذِي يَكُونُ مُنْتَهَى قَصْدِهِ ثَمَانِيَةً وَأَرْبَعِينَ مِيلًا بِالْهَاشِمِيَّةِ أَنْ يَقْصُرَ الصَّلَاةَ فِي أَوَّلِ مَرْحَلَتِهِ

ibnhibban:2743 – ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad al-Azdī > Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Ayyūb > Abū Qilābah > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "I prayed Dhuhr prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Medina, four Rak'ahs, and I prayed Asr prayer with him in Dhul-Hulayfah, two Rak'ahs, and he was traveling."  

ابن حبّان:٢٧٤٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

«صَلَّيْتُ الظُّهْرَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا وَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ الْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكَانَ مُسَافِرًا»  

ذِكْرُ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ إِذَا خَلَّفَ دُورَ الْبَلْدَةِ وَرَاءَهُ أَنْ يَقْصُرَ الصَّلَاةَ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»  

bayhaqi:9000 – Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed four units (rakaats) of Dhuhr (midday) prayer in Al-Madinah, and two units (rakaats) of Asr (afternoon) prayer in Dhi al-Hulayfah. Anas said, "I heard them (the companions) all shouting in unison, 'Hajj' and 'Umrah'."  

البيهقي:٩٠٠٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا وَالْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَسَمِعْتُهُمْ يَصْرُخُونَ بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا الْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ
