ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا وَضَعَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْحَرَجِ عَنِ الْوَاجِدِ فِي نَفْسِهِ مَا لَا يَحِلُّ لَهُ أَنْ يَنْطِقَ بِهِ

ibnhibban:145 – Abū Yaʿlá > Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > Muḥammad b. Bishr > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr > Abū Salamah > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] "A man said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we find within ourselves things that we do not like to speak about, and we have thoughts that the sun rises upon.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Have you really found that?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'That is clear faith.'"  

ابن حبّان:١٤٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا أَشْيَاءَ مَا نُحِبُّ أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَا وَإِنَّ لَنَا مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ ﷺ «قَدْ وَجَدْتُمْ ذَلِكَ؟ » قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ «ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الْإِيمَانِ»

Verily we perceive in our minds that which every one of us considers it too grave to express. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Do you really perceive it? They said: Yes. Upon this he remarked: That is the faith manifest.

جَاءَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلُوهُ إِنَّا نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا مَا يَتَعَاظَمُ أَحَدُنَا أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ قَالَ وَقَدْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الإِيمَانِ  

abudawud:5111 – Aḥmad b. Yūnus > Zuhayr > Suhayl from his father > Abū Hurayrah

Have you experienced that? They replied: yes. He said : that is clear faith.  

أبو داود:٥١١١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

جَاءَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا الشَّىْءَ نُعْظِمُ أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ أَوِ الْكَلاَمَ بِهِ مَا نُحِبُّ أَنَّ لَنَا وَأَنَّا تَكَلَّمْنَا بِهِ قَالَ أَوَقَدْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الإِيمَانِ  

ahmad:9694 – Muḥammad b. ʿUbayd And Yazīd > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr > Abū Salamah > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] They said, "O Messenger of Allah, we find within ourselves something that brings us pleasure, which is speaking with it, and we do not have anything that the sun has risen upon." He said, "Have you found that?" They said, "Yes." He said, "That is the clear sign of faith."  

أحمد:٩٦٩٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَامَا يَسُرُّنَا أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ وَلَا أَنَّ لَنَا مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ أَوَجَدْتُمْ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الْإِيمَانِ
