ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ أَوْهَمَ مَنْ لَمْ يَتَفَقَّهْ فِي صَحِيحِ الْآثَارِ، وَلَا أَمْعَنَ فِي مَعَانِي الْأَخْبَارِ أَنَّ وُجُودَ مَا ذَكَرْنَا هُوَ مَحْضُ الْإِيمَانِ

ibnhibban:146Abū ʿArūbah Biḥarrān > Muḥammad b. Bashhār > Ibn Abū ʿAdī > Shuʿbah > ʿĀṣim Ibn Bahdalah > Abū Ṣāliḥ

[Machine] On the authority of Abu Hurayrah, he said: "They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we find within ourselves something that it is more beloved to us than speaking about it.' He said, 'That is the pure essence of faith.'"  

ابن حبّان:١٤٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ بِحَرَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا شَيْئًا لَأَنْ يَكُونَ أَحَدُنَا حُمَمَةً أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ قَالَ «ذَاكَ مَحْضُ الْإِيمَانِ»
