Verily we perceive in our minds that which every one of us considers it too grave to express. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Do you really perceive it? They said: Yes. Upon this he remarked: That is the faith manifest.
جَاءَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلُوهُ إِنَّا نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا مَا يَتَعَاظَمُ أَحَدُنَا أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ قَالَ وَقَدْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الإِيمَانِ
Have you experienced that? They replied: yes. He said : that is clear faith.
جَاءَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا الشَّىْءَ نُعْظِمُ أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ أَوِ الْكَلاَمَ بِهِ مَا نُحِبُّ أَنَّ لَنَا وَأَنَّا تَكَلَّمْنَا بِهِ قَالَ أَوَقَدْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الإِيمَانِ
[Machine] They said, "O Messenger of Allah, we find within ourselves something that brings us pleasure, which is speaking with it, and we do not have anything that the sun has risen upon." He said, "Have you found that?" They said, "Yes." He said, "That is the clear sign of faith."
قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَامَا يَسُرُّنَا أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ وَلَا أَنَّ لَنَا مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ أَوَجَدْتُمْ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الْإِيمَانِ
[Machine] "A man said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we find within ourselves things that we do not like to speak about, and we have thoughts that the sun rises upon.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Have you really found that?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'That is clear faith.'"
رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا أَشْيَاءَ مَا نُحِبُّ أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَا وَإِنَّ لَنَا مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ ﷺ «قَدْ وَجَدْتُمْ ذَلِكَ؟ » قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ «ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الْإِيمَانِ»

جَاءَ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا مَا نَتَعَاظَمُ أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ؟ قَالَ «قَدْ وَجَدْتُمُوهُ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ «ذَلِكَ صَرِيحُ الْإِيمَانِ»
Abu Hurayra related, "Some people said, 'Messenger of Allah, we feel in ourselves something which we do not want to speak about and we have been in that state since sunrise.' He said, 'Have you really felt like that?' 'Yes,' they said. He said, 'That is clear belief.'"
قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَجِدُ فِي أَنْفُسِنَا شَيْئًا مَا نُحِبُّ أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ وَإِنَّ لَنَا مَا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ قَالَ أَوَ قَدْ وَجَدْتُمْ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الإيمَانِ
أصحابه قالوا إنا نجد في أنفسنا ما لا نحب أن نتكلم به وأن لنا ما طلعت عليه الشمس فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أوجدتم هذا قالوا نعم قال ذاك صريح الإيمان
