[Machine] I wore a sock made of leather on the day of Khaybar. He said, "So I approached him and held it tightly." He said, "Then I said, 'I will not give anyone anything of this today.' So I turned around and saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ smiling at me." Abdullah said, "I hope that Humayd heard it from Abdullah."  

الدارمي:٢٥٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ

دُلِّيَ جِرَابٌ مِنْ شَحْمٍ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَالْتَزَمْتُهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ قُلْتُ لَا أُعْطِي مِنْ هَذَا أَحَدًا الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَبْتَسِمُ إِلَيَّ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ «أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ حُمَيْدٌ سَمِعَ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ»

"A bag of fat was thrown on the day of Khaibar, and I caught it and said: "I will not give anything of this to anyone.' I turned around and saw the Messenger of Allah there, smiling." (Sahih )

"عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ: دُلِّى جرَابٌ مِنْ شَحْمٍ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَالْتَزَمْتُهُ وَقُلْتُ: هَذَا لَا أُعْطِى أحَدًا مِنْهُ شَيْئًا، فَالْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا النَّبِىُّ ﷺ يَتَبَسَّمُ فاسْتَحْيَيْتُ".
