Abusing one's parents is one of the major sins. They (the hearers) said: Messenger of Allah, does a man abuse his parents too? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Yes, one abuses the father of another man, who in turn abuses his father. One abuses his mother and he in turn abuses his (the former's) mother.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مِنَ الْكَبَائِرِ شَتْمُ الرَّجُلِ وَالِدَيْهِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ يَشْتِمُ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ يَسُبُّ أَبَا الرَّجُلِ فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ وَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ فَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ

A man’s reviling of his parents is one of the grave sins. He was asked : Messenger of Allah! How does a man revile his parents? He replied: He reviles the father of a man who then reviles his father, and he reviles a man’s mother and he reviles his.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ أَنْ يَلْعَنَ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ يَلْعَنُ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ قَالَ يَلْعَنُ أَبَا الرَّجُلِ فَيَلْعَنُ أَبَاهُ وَيَلْعَنُ أُمَّهُ فَيَلْعَنُ أُمَّهُ

[Machine] "To insult one's parents," they asked, "how does a person insult his parents?" He replied, "He curses the father of the man, so he curses his father, and he curses the mother of the man, so he curses his mother."

أَنْ يَشْتُمَ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ قَالُوا وَكَيْفَ يَشْتُمُ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ؟ قَالَ يَسُبُّ أَبَا الرَّجُلِ فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ وَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ فَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, the greatest of major sins is disobedience to parents." It was said: "What is disobedience to parents?" He said: "It is when a person insults another person, and that person insults his father, and insults his mother."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ أَكْبَرَ الْكَبَائِرِ عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ قَالَ قِيلَ وَمَا عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ؟ قَالَ يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ وَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ فَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said. "It is one of the greatest sins that a man should curse his parents." It was asked (by the people), "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! How does a man curse his parents?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "'The man abuses the father of another man and the latter abuses the father of the former and abuses his mother." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5973)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ أَنْ يَلْعَنَ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَكَيْفَ يَلْعَنُ الرَّجُلُ أَبَوَيْهِ؟ قَالَ يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ وَيَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ أُمَّهُ فَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed, one of the greatest sins is for a person to curse his parents." They asked, "How can a person curse his parents?" He replied, "He curses someone's father, so that person retaliates by cursing his father, and he curses someone's mother, so that person retaliates by cursing his mother."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِالذَّنْبِ أَنْ يَسُبَّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ قَالُوا وَكَيْفَ يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ؟ قَالَ يَسُبُّ أَبَا الرَّجُلِ فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ وَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ فَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, one of the greatest sins is for a person to curse his parents." He was asked, "How can someone curse his parents?" He replied, "He curses another person's father, so that person curses his own father, and he curses another person's mother, so that person curses his own mother."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ أَنْ يَسُبَّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ» قَالَ وَكَيْفَ يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ؟ قَالَ «يَسُبُّ أَبَا الرَّجُلِ فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ وَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ فَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ»

"إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبِرَ الكبائرِ أَن يَلعَنَ الرَّجُلُ والدَيْه، قيل: يا رسولَ اللَّه كيف ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ يَلْعَنُ أَبا الرَّجُلِ فَيَلْعَنُ أَباه ويَلْعنُ أُمَّه، فيلعن أُمَّهُ ".
