Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of your servants brings you food, he should sit with him. If you do not accept that, then you should give it to him.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَقْبَلْ فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "When your servant brings your meals to you then if he does not let him sit and share the meals, then he should at least give him a mouthful or two mouthfuls of that meal or a meal or two meals, as he has prepared it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ أَوْ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ عِلاَجَهُ

If the servant of any of you prepares food for him, and he brings it to him, while he had suffered its heat and smoke. He should make him sit with him to eat. If the food is scanty, he should put one or two morsels in his hand.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَنَعَ لأَحَدِكُمْ خَادِمُهُ طَعَامًا ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ بِهِ وَقَدْ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ مَعَهُ لِيَأْكُلَ فَإِنْ كَانَ الطَّعَامُ مَشْفُوهًا فَلْيَضَعْ فِي يَدِهِ مِنْهُ أَكْلَةً أَوْ أَكْلَتَيْنِ

From his father that Abu Hurairah informed them that the Prophet ﷺ said: "When the servant of one of you has endured heat and smoke preparing his food for him, then let him take him by the hand and make him sit him down with him. If he refuses, then let him take a morsel and feed him with it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَفَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ طَعَامَهُ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِيَدِهِ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيَأْخُذْ لُقْمَةً فَلْيُطْعِمْهَا إِيَّاهُ

“I heard Abu Hurairah say: ‘The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When the servant of anyone of you brings him his food, let him make him sit by his side and eat with him, and if he refuses then let him give him some.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ

“When the servant of anyone of you brings his food, let him make him sit down with him or give him some of it, for he is the one who put up with its heat and smoke.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ مَعَهُ أَوْ لِيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ هُوَ الَّذِي وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When your servant brings you food, make him sit and if he refuses, then serve him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِالطَّعَامِ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you's servant brings him food, let him make him sit with him or let him give him a bite or two, or a meal or two, for he is his guardian and companion."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامٍ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ أَوْ َلْيُنَاوِلْهُ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ أَوْ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ»

“When the servant of anyone of you brings his food, let him make him sit down with him or give him some of it, for he is the one who put up with its heat and smoke.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3291)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِهِ فَلْيُطْعِمْهُ أَوْ لِيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "When one of you servant brings his food, let him sit close to you and feed him. For he is your brother and companion."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُدْنِهِ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ عَلَيْهِ أَوْ لِيُلْقِمْهُ؛ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ

“When the servant of anyone of you brings his food, let him make him sit down with him or give him some of it, for he is the one who put up with its heat and smoke.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3291)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمْخَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ مَعَهُ أَوْ لِيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you has his servant prepare his meal, then he should suffice him with his warmth and coldness (comfort). Then, let him make him sit with him. If he refuses, then let him give him a mouthful in his hand."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَصْلَحَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ لَهُ طَعَامَهُ فَكَفَاهُ حَرَّهُ وَبَرْدَهُ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ أُكْلَةً فِي يَدِهِ

[AI] Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is served by his servant with his food, let him make him sit with him. If he refuses, then let him give him a morsel of food in his hand."

هُرَيْرَةَعَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ قَدْ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَمَشَقَّتَهُ وَدُخَانَهُ وَمُؤْنَتَهُ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ أُكْلَةً فِي يَدِهِ

[AI] From the Prophet, ﷺ , it was narrated that when one of you is sufficient with his servant providing him with his food, clothing, and tobacco, then he should make him sit with him and let him eat. If he refuses, then he should take a morsel, chew it, and then give it to him.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا كَفَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ صَنْعَةَ طَعَامِهِ وَكَفَاهُ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيَأْخُذْ لُقْمَةً فَلْيُرَوِّغْهَا ثُمَّ لِيُعْطِهَا إِيَّاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the servant of any one of you brings him his food, which has sufficed him in his hunger and his work, if he does not make him sit with him to eat, then he should give him a bite of his food."

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ قَدْ كَفَاهُ حَرَّهُ وَعَمَلَهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُقْعِدْهُ مَعَهُ لِيَأْكُلَ فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ أُكْلَةً مِنْ طَعَامِهِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you brings his servant food, and if he does not sit him down to eat with him, then he should give him a handful of food or two handfuls, or a bite or two bites. There may be a suspicion (of the servant), but indeed he is his ally and his servant."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ أَوْ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ شُعْبَةُ شَكَّ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ عِلَاجَهُ وَحَرَّهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If the servant of one of you brings his food, let him sit with him. If he does not let him sit with him, then let him have a mouthful or two mouthfuls, or a morsel or two morsels." Ibn Ja'far said, "A mouthful or two mouthfuls, for it is his cure and freedom."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ أو لقمة أو لقمتين وَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ عِلَاجَهُ وَحَرَّهُ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "When the servant of one of you brings his food, let him invite him to eat with him. If he does not invite him, then let him share it with him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قال إذا صنع خادم أحدكم طعاما فليجلسه معه فإن أبى فليناوله أكله في يده

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ إذا كفى أحدكم خادمه صنيع طعامه كفاه حره ودخانه فليجلسه معه فإن أبى فليأخذ لقمة فليطعمها إياه

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إذا جاء خادم أحدكم بطعامه فليجلسه فليأكل معه فإن لم يفعل فليناوله يعني لقمة موسى بن طلحة

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you finishes his servant's food and drink, he should dismiss him and have him sit. If he refuses, then he should feed him a morsel and give it to him, or give him a word that carries the same meaning."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَفَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ طَعَامَهُ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ فَلْيَدْعُهُ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُرَوِّغْ لَهُ لُقْمَةً فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ إِيَّاهَا أَوْ يُعْطِهِ إِيَّاهَا أَوْ كَلِمَةً هَذَا مَعْنَاهَا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "When your servant brings your food to you, if you do not ask him to join you, then at least ask him to take one or two handfuls, for he has suffered from its heat (while cooking it) and has taken pains to cook it nicely." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5460)

"إذ أتى أحدَكم خادمُه بطعامِه، قد كفاه علاجَه ودخانَه فليُجلسْه مَعه، فإن لم يجْلِسُه معه فلْينَاولْه أُكلةً أو أكْلتين فإنه ولى حرَّه وعلاجَه".

("إذَا جَاءَ أحَدَكُم خادمُهُ بطعامِهِ قدْ كفَاهُ علاجَهُ ودُخَانَهُ فَليُجْلسْهُ مَعَهُ، فإِنْ لم يُجْلِسْه فَليُنَاولْه أُكْلَةً أوْ أُكْلَتينَ".
