The Prophet ﷺ said, "When your servant brings your food to you, if you do not ask him to join you, then at least ask him to take one or two handfuls, for he has suffered from its heat (while cooking it) and has taken pains to cook it nicely."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ أَوْ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَعِلاَجَهُ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "When your servant brings your meals to you then if he does not let him sit and share the meals, then he should at least give him a mouthful or two mouthfuls of that meal or a meal or two meals, as he has prepared it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ أَوْ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ عِلاَجَهُ

“I heard Abu Hurairah say: ‘The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When the servant of anyone of you brings him his food, let him make him sit by his side and eat with him, and if he refuses then let him give him some.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ فَلْيَأْكُلْ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ

“When the servant of anyone of you brings his food, let him make him sit down with him or give him some of it, for he is the one who put up with its heat and smoke.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3291)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَكُمْخَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ مَعَهُ أَوْ لِيُنَاوِلْهُ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If the servant of one of you brings his food, let him sit with him. If he does not let him sit with him, then let him have a mouthful or two mouthfuls, or a morsel or two morsels." Ibn Ja'far said, "A mouthful or two mouthfuls, for it is his cure and freedom."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا جَاءَ خَادِمُ أَحَدِكُمْ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ يُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ فَلْيُنَاوِلْهُ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ أو لقمة أو لقمتين وَقَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ عِلَاجَهُ وَحَرَّهُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you's servant brings him food, let him make him sit with him or let him give him a bite or two, or a meal or two, for he is his guardian and companion."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامٍ فَلْيُجْلِسْهُ مَعَهُ أَوْ َلْيُنَاوِلْهُ لُقْمَةً أَوْ لُقْمَتَيْنِ أَوْ أُكْلَةً أَوْ أُكْلَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ»

("إذَا جَاءَ أحَدَكُم خادمُهُ بطعامِهِ قدْ كفَاهُ علاجَهُ ودُخَانَهُ فَليُجْلسْهُ مَعَهُ، فإِنْ لم يُجْلِسْه فَليُنَاولْه أُكْلَةً أوْ أُكْلَتينَ".

"إذ أتى أحدَكم خادمُه بطعامِه، قد كفاه علاجَه ودخانَه فليُجلسْه مَعه، فإن لم يجْلِسُه معه فلْينَاولْه أُكلةً أو أكْلتين فإنه ولى حرَّه وعلاجَه".
