“But there is no one to weep for Hamzah.” So the women of Ansar started to weep for Hamzah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up and said, ‘Woe to them, have they not gone home yet? Tell them to go home and not to weep for anyone who dies after this day.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1591)
[Machine] "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from the Battle of Uhud, he heard the women of the Ansar crying for their husbands. He said, 'But Hamza does not have [any wives to cry for him].' When the women of the Ansar heard what he said, they came and started crying for Hamza. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up at night and heard them crying, so he said, 'Woe to them! They have been crying since last night, leave them and do not cry for someone who has already passed away.'"
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from the Battle of Uhud, he heard the women of the Ansar crying. He said, "But Hamza has no one to cry for him." This news reached the women of the Ansar, so they cried for Hamza. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then went to sleep, and when he woke up, the women were still crying. He said, "Woe to them! Why are they still crying since that day? Let them be silent and not cry for the dead after today." It has been narrated by Usama from Nafi' from Ibn 'Umar.
