While a man was riding (his Mount) in ʿArafat, he fell down from it (his Mount) and broke his neck (and died). The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in two pieces of cloth, and neither perfume him, nor cover his head, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection saying, 'Labbaik,' (i.e. like a pilgrim)."

بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ وَاقِفٌ بِعَرَفَةَ إِذْ وَقَعَ عَنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ فَوَقَصَتْهُ أَوْ قَالَ فَأَوْقَصَتْهُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ وَلاَ تُحَنِّطُوهُ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا

While a man was at ʿArafat (for Hajj) with Messenger of Allah ﷺ the fell down from his Mount and broke his neck (and died). So Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in two pieces of cloth and neither perfume him nor cover his head, for Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection and he will be saying 'Labbaik."

A man was killed by his camel while we were with the Prophet ﷺ and he was a Muhrim. So the Prophet ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in two pieces of cloth and neither perfume him nor cover his head, for Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection and he will be saying 'Labbaik' . "

A man fell from his Mount and died while he was with the Prophet ﷺ at ʿArafat. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in two pieces of cloth and neither perfume him nor cover his head, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection saying, 'Labbaik'."

While a man was standing with the Prophet ﷺ at ʿArafat, he fell from his Mount and his neck was crushed by it. A man was in the company of the Prophet ﷺ and his she-camel crushed his neck while he was in a state of Ihram and he died Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in his two garments; neither perfume him nor cover his head, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection, reciting Talbiya."

أَنَّ رَجُلاً كَانَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَوَقَصَتْهُ نَاقَتُهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلاَ تَمَسُّوهُ بِطِيبٍ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا

from the Prophet ﷺ that a man fell down a camel, broke his neck, and die. He said, "Bathe him with water mixed with the leaves of the lote tree and shroud him in his two ˹pieces of˺ cloth and do not cover his head: for Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection pronouncing the talbiyah (labbayk Allāhumma labbayk)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَرَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَعِيرِهِ فَوُقِصَ فَمَاتَ۔ فَقَالَ: «اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ، وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا۔»

Bathe him with water mixed with lote (leaves) and shroud him in two (pieces of) cloth and do'not cover his head for he would come on the Day of Resurrection pronouncing Talbiya.

أَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ حَرَامًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَخَرَّ مِنْ بَعِيرِهِ فَوُقِصَ وَقْصًا فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَأَلْبِسُوهُ ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي

Bathe him with water mixed (with the leaves of) lote tree and shroud him In his two (pieces of) cloth and cover neither his head nor his face, for he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection pronouncing Talbiya.

Sa'id b. Jubair reported on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) that a camel broke the neck of its owner while he was in the state of lhram and he was at that time in the company of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that he should be bathed with water mixed with (leaves of the) lote (tree) and no perfume should be applied to him and his head should not be covered, for he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection pronouncing Talblya.

أَنَّ رَجُلاً وَقَصَهُ بَعِيرُهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُغْسَلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَلاَ يُمَسَّ طِيبًا وَلاَ يُخَمَّرَ رَأْسُهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّدًا

A person came to Allah's Apostle ﷺ while he was in the state of lhram. He fell down from his camel and broke his neck. Thereupon Allah's Apostle ﷺ commanded to bathe him with water (mixed with the leaves of) the lote (tree), and shroud him in two (pieces of) cloth and not to apply perfume (to him), keeping his head out (of the shroud). Shu'ba said: He then narrated to me after this (the words)" keeping his head out," his face out, for he would be raised on the Day of Resurrection pronouncing Talbiya.

أَنَّ رَجُلاً أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَوَقَعَ مِنْ نَاقَتِهِ فَأَقْعَصَتْهُ فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يُغْسَلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَأَنْ يُكَفَّنَ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ وَلاَ يُمَسَّ طِيبًا خَارِجٌ رَأْسُهُ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ ثُمَّ حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ خَارِجٌ رَأْسُهُ وَوَجْهُهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّدًا

Wash him, but do not apply perfume and do not cover his face, for he would be raised (on the Day of Resurrection) pronouncing Talbiya.

كَانَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَجُلٌ فَوَقَصَتْهُ نَاقَتُهُ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ وَلاَ تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا وَلاَ تُغَطُّوا وَجْهَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يُلَبِّي

To the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought man wearing ihram who was thrown by his she-camel and has his neck broken and had died. He then said: Shroud him in his two garments, was him with water and lotus leaves, but do not cover his head, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection saying the talbiyah. Abu Dawud said: I heard Ahmad b. Hanbal say: There are five rules of the law (sunan) in this tradition: "Shroud him in his two garment," that is, the dead should be shrouded in his two garments. "Wash him with water and lotus leaves," that is, washing all times should be with lotus leaves. Do not bring any perfume near him. The shroud will be made from the property (of the dead).

أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ وَقَصَتْهُ رَاحِلَتُهُ فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ كَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَاغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي

"We were with the Messenger of Allah on a journey when he saw a man fall from his camel, his neck was broken and he died, and he was a Muhrim. So the Messenger of Allah said: 'Wash him with water and Sidr, and shroud him in his garments, and do not cover his head. For indeed he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment saying the Talbiyah.'"

كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَرَأَى رَجُلاً قَدْ سَقَطَ عَنْ بَعِيرِهِ فَوُقِصَ فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُهِلُّ أَوْ يُلَبِّي

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Wash the Muhrim in the two garments in which he entered Ihram, and wash him with water and lotus leaves, and shroud him in his two garments, and do not put perfume on him nor cover his head, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection in Ihram."'

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوا الْمُحْرِمَ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ اللَّذَيْنِ أَحْرَمَ فِيهِمَا وَاغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلاَ تُمِسُّوهُ بِطِيبٍ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُحْرِمًا

a man fell from his mount and it trampled him. The Messenger of Allah said: "Wash him with water and lotus leaves, and he should be shrouded in two clothes, leaving his head and face bare, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah."(sahih)

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَيُكَفَّنُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ خَارِجًا رَأْسُهُ وَوَجْهُهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا

مَاتَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثِيَابِهِ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا وَجْهَهُ وَرَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا

That a man was with the Messenger of Allah, and his she-camel broke his neck when he was in Ihra, and he died. That a man in Ihram was thrown by his she-camel and his neck was broken. It was said that he had died, so the Prophet said: "Wash him with water and lotus leaves, and shroud him in two cloths." Then he said: "Do not put any perfume on him for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah." Shubah said: "Ten years later, I asked him (the narrator Abu Bishr) anbut that, and he narrated the Hadith as he had the first time, except that he said: 'And do not cover his face and head.'".

النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ عَلَى إِثْرِهِ خَارِجًا رَأْسُهُ قَالَ وَلاَ تُمِسُّوهُ طِيبًا فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ بَعْدَ عَشْرِ سِنِينَ فَجَاءَ بِالْحَدِيثِ كَمَا كَانَ يَجِيءُ بِهِ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا وَجْهَهُ وَرَأْسَهُ

"While a man was standing in Arafat with the Messenger of Allah, he fell from his mount and it killed him. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Wash him with water and lotus leaves, and shroud him in two cloths. Do not apply aromatics to him or cover his head, for Allah, the Might and Sublime, wil raise him on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah.'".

"The she-Camel of a ma in Ihram broke his neck and killed him. He was brought to the Messenger of Allah and he said 'Wash him and shroud him, and do not cover his head, or bring any perfume near him, for he will be raisd reciting Talbiyah.'" (Sahih) Dies

وَقَصَتْ رَجُلاً مُحْرِمًا نَاقَتُهُ فَقَتَلَتْهُ فَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ اغْسِلُوهُ وَكَفِّنُوهُ وَلاَ تُغَطُّوا رَأْسَهُ وَلاَ تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يُهِلُّ

"A man in Ihram came with the Messenger of Allah and fell from atop his camel, breaking his neck, and he died. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Wash him with water and lotus leaves, and wrap him in his two garments. But do not cover his head, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah.'"

أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ أَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ حَرَامًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَخَرَّ مِنْ فَوْقِ بَعِيرِهِ فَوُقِصَ وَقْصًا فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَأَلْبِسُوهُ ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي

"While a man was standing in Arafat with the Messenger of Allah, he fell from his mount and it killed him. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and Sidr (a plant) and shroud him in his two garments; neither perfume him nor cover his head, for Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection and he is Ihram (performed Hajj without Umrah)." He further said, "O Allah! Rinse him with water and snow and cleanse him from sins as a white garment is cleansed from filth."

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَخَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَنْ بَعِيرِهِ فَوُقِصَ فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَادْفِنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُهِلًّا وَقَالَ مَرَّةً يُهِلُّ

[AI] He said, "It was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about a man whose mount had been killed while in a state of ihram (pilgrim in a sacred state); he (the Prophet) said, 'Shroud him, do not cover his head, and do not perfume him. For he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection while reciting Talbiyah (a prayer during Hajj) or making Takbir (proclaiming the greatness of Allah).' "

أَنَّهُ قَالَ ذُكِرَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ رَجُلٌ وَقَصَتْهُ رَاحِلَتُهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ كَفِّنُوهُ وَلا تُغَطُّوا رَأْسَهُ وَلا تُمِسُّوهُ طِيبًا فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهُوَ يُلَبِّي أَوْ وَهُوَ يُهِلُّ

[AI] A man fell from his mount while in a state of pilgrim sanctity, and he died. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that he should be washed with water and lotus leaves, and that he should be wrapped in his two garments without covering his head. For indeed, he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment wearing those clothes. And Ayub said, "Covered."

أَنَّ رَجُلًا صُرِعَ مِنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَمَاتَ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَأَنْ يُكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَأَنْ لَا يُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا وَقَالَ أَيُّوبُ مُلَبِّدًا

[AI] A man came to the Prophet Muhammad while he was in the state of ihram (ritual consecration) and fell from his camel, causing it to injure him. The Messenger of Allah ordered him to be washed with water and sidr (a medicinal plant), and to be shrouded in two garments. He also stated that no perfume should be applied to him outside his head. Shu'bah said, "Later on, he (the man) told me that it should be outside his head or face, as he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment with his entire body covered."

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَوَقَعَ مِنْ نَاقَتِهِ فَأَقْصَعَتْهُ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُغْسَلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَأَنْ يُكَفَّنَ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ وَقَالَ لَا تَمَسُّوهُ بِطِيبٍ خَارِجَ رَأْسِهِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ خَارِجَ رَأْسِهِ أَوْ وَجْهِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّدًا

That a man was with the Messenger of Allah, and his she-camel broke his neck when he was in Ihra, and he died. The Messenger of all said, Wash him with water and lote leaves, and shroud him in his two garments, and do not put any perfume on him or cover his head, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah.". عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُمْ خَرَجُوا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مُحْرِمِينَ وَأَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْهُمْ وَقَصَهُ بَعِيرُهُ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُفِي ثَوْبَيْنِ وَلا تُمِسُّوهُ طِيبًا وَلا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّدًا

[AI] Concerning his she-camel while it was in a state of ihram, Ayyub doubted whether he had shortened its tail or cut it off completely. So they asked the Prophet ﷺ , who said, "Wash it with water and siddr (lote tree leaves) and shroud it in its own garments. Do not cover its head nor approach it with perfume, because Allah will resurrect it in a state of ihram on the Day of Resurrection."

عَنْ بَعِيرِهِ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَوَقَصَهُ أَوْ أَقْصَعَهُ شَكَّ أَيُّوبُ فَسَأَلُوا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ وَلا تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَالْقِيَامَةِ مُحْرِمًا

"A man in Ihram came with the Messenger of Allah and fell from atop his camel, breaking his neck, and he died. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Wash him with water and lotus leaves, and wrap him in his two garments. But do not cover his head, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2858)

أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ أَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ حَرَامٌ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَخَرَّ مِنْ فَوْقِ دَابَّتِهِ فَوُقِصَ وَقْصًا فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَأَلْبِسُوهُ ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي

[AI] A man's camel threw him off and injured him while he was in a state of ihram (for Hajj or Umrah). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Clothe him with two garments and wash him with water and sidr, and do not cover his head, for Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Judgment in a state of ihram."

أَنْ رَجُلًا صَرَعَهُ بَعِيرُهُ فَوَقَصَهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَلْبِسُوهُ ثَوْبَيْنِ وَاغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَلَا تُغَطُّوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي»

A man was in the company of the Prophet ﷺ and his she-camel crushed his neck while he was in a state of Ihram and he died Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in his two garments; neither perfume him nor cover his head, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection, reciting Talbiya." أَنْ رَجُلًا كَانَ مُحْرِمًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَوَقَصَتْهُ نَاقَتُهُ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ وَلَا تُمِسُّوهُ طَيِّبًا فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا»

[AI] "A man came on a camel, and he was in a state of ihram. The camel injured him, and he died. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered him to be washed with water and sidr, and to be shrouded in his two garments without any perfume being applied to him, and his face and head should not be covered."

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَأَوْقَصَتْهُ فَمَاتَ «فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُغَسَّلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَأَنْ يُكَفَّنَ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا يَمَسَّ طَيِّبًا وَلَا يُخَمَّرَ وَجْهُهُ وَرَأْسُهُ»

[AI] About his death, when he passed away, they asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "Wash him with lote tree leaves and water, and shroud him in his two garments, and do not cover his head, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment wearing them."

عَنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ فَوُقِصَ فَسَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «اغْسِلُوهُ بِسِدْرٍ وَمَاءٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'Wash him with water and sidr, and shroud him in his two garments, but do not cover his head, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment wearing a garment.'"

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا»

[AI] That a muhrim and his mount got into trouble, then he died. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that they wash him with water and lotus leaves, and shroud him in his two garments without covering his face, as he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection wearing them.

أَنَّ مُحْرِمًا وَقَصَتْهُ رَاحِلَتُهُ فَمَاتَ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنْ يَغْسِلُوهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالسِّدْرِ وَأَنْ يُكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا يُخَمِّرُوا وَجْهَهُ؛ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي»

[AI] A man from among us was on his journey and he was in a state of ihram (consecration). He passed away, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and lotus leaves, shroud him in his two garments, and do not cover his face, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment saying 'Labbaik' (here I am).

وُقِصَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا وَجْهَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ was on a journey when a man fell from his camel and died while he was in a state of ihram (sanctity). The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and lotus leaves, shroud him in his two garments, but do not cover his head or face, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment saying the talbiyah (a specific phrase of pilgrimage)."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَسِيرٍ فَوَقَصَتْ رَجُلًا نَاقَتُهُ فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ وَلَا وَجْهَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا»

[AI] While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was walking, he was accompanied by a Muslim man who was in a state of Ihram (sacral state). The man's camel stumbled upon him and caused him to fall, resulting in his death. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Wash him with water and sidr (a type of tree) and shroud him in the two garments in which he assumed the Ihram. Do not cover his face, for Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Judgment reciting the Talbiyah (a Muslim prayer)."

بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَسِيرُ وَمَعَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مُحْرِمٌ إِذْ عَثَرَ بِهِ بَعِيرُهُ فَوَقَعَ عَنْهُ فَوُقِصَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اغْسِلُوهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالسِّدْرِ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ الَّذِي أَحْرَمَ فِيهِمَا وَلَا تُغَطُّوا وَجْهَهُ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُهِلًّا»

[AI] A man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ told a story in which his camel killed him while he was in a state of ihram (pilgrim sanctity). The Prophet ﷺ said, "Shroud him in his two garments, do not cover him with perfume, wash him with water and sidr (a type of plant), and do not cover his face, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment making the talbiyah (saying: Labbayk Allahumma labbayk, here I am, O Allah, here I am)."

وَقَصَتْ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ نَاقَتُهُ فَقَتَلَتْهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «كَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُمِسُّوهُ طِيبًا وَاغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَلَا تُغَطُّوا وَجْهَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي»

[AI] A man was overpowered by his camel and it injured him while he was in a state of consecration. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Clothe him in two garments, wash him with water and lotus leaves, and do not cover his head, for indeed Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection wearing the same clothes."

أَنَّ رَجُلًا صَرَعَهُ بَعِيرُهُ فَوَقَصَهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَلْبِسُوهُ ثَوْبَيْنِ وَاغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَلَا تُغَطُّوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and sidr, and shroud him in his two garments, and do not use any fragrance, for he will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection in a state of purity."

النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُقَرِّبُوا طِيبًا فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا»

[AI] While a man was on his camel, it tripped and killed him. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Wash him with sidr (a type of plant) and water, and shroud him in his two garments. Do not cover his head or face, for indeed Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Judgment reciting the talbiyah (saying 'Here I am, O Allah, here I am')."

بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ إِذْ وَقَصَتْهُ فَمَاتَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اغْسِلُوهُ بِسِدْرٍ وَمَاءٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ وَلَا وَجْهَهُ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي»

[AI] "Wash the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with water and lotus leaves, and shroud him in his two garments. Do not apply fragrance to him, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment in a state of purity or complete covering."

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا أَوْ قَالَ مُلَبِّدًا

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Wash him and shroud him in his two garments, and do not touch him with anything that was prohibited for him. Indeed, he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment in a state of purity.'"

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اغْسِلُوهُ وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُمِسُّوهُ بِشَيْءٍ كَانَ يَحْرُمُ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي»

[AI] A man was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he fell from his ride and died. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that he be shrouded and washed, and that his face not be covered, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment reciting talbiyah or saying 'ihlil'.

كَانَ رَجُلٌ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَوَقَعَ عَنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ فَمَاتَ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُكَفَّنَ وَيُغَسَّلَ وَلَا يُخَمَّرَ وَجْهُهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُلَبِّي أَوْ قَالَ يُهِلُّ

[AI] A man came to the Messenger of Allah and said, "My brother was crushed by his camel and died while in a state of Ihram (pilgrim sanctity)." The Messenger of Allah said, "Wash him with water and sidr (a type of plant), but do not shroud him, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection still in a state of Ihram."

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَخِي صَرَعَهُ بَعِيرُهُ فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اغْسِلْهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَلَا تُحَنِّطْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُحْرِمًا»

A man wearing ihram was thrown by his she-camel and had his neck broken and he died. He was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: Wash and shroud him, but do not cover his head and do not put any perfume on him, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection saying the talbiyah. وَقَصَتْ بِرَجُلٍ مُحْرِمٍ نَاقَتُهُ فَقَتَلَتْهُ فَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «اغْسِلُوهُ وَكَفِّنُوهُ وَلَا تَغْسِلُوا رَأْسَهُ وَلَا تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا فَإِنَّهُ يُبْعَثُ يُهِلِّ»
