BAYHAQI 6698:
from Ibn ʿAbbās —
[Machine] A man was standing with the Messenger ﷺ on Arafat when he fell off his mount. Ayyub said, "I will cut his throat," and Amr said, "I will cut his throat," and he died. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and sidr, shroud him in two garments, and do not perfume him or cover his head. For Allah will resurrect him in the state of ihram." Amr said, "Resurrected in a state of ihram?" Isma'il said, "That's how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said it." Musaddad opposed him and said, "No, he said, 'He will be resurrected wearing clothes.' " Sulaiman and Attab agreed that Amr said, "He will be resurrected in a state of ihram," while Ayyub said, "He will be resurrected wearing clothes."
