bayhaqi:67 – Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyá b. Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá And Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan > Yaḥyá b. Yaḥyá > Sulaymān b. Bilāl > Zayd b. Aslam > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Waʿlah > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbbās

[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "When leather is tanned, it becomes pure."  

البيهقي:٦٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَعْلَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا دُبِغَ الْإِهَابُ فَقَدْ طَهُرَ  

أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ فِي الصَّحِيحِ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى وَكَذَلِكَ

Malik related to me from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ibn Wala al-Misri from Abdullah ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A skin when it is tanned is pure."
