Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the Imam is delivering the Khutba, and you ask your companion to keep quiet and listen, then no doubt you have done an evil act." (Using translation from Bukhārī 934)
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ أَنْصِتْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the Imam is delivering the Khutba, and you ask your companion to keep quiet and listen, then no doubt you have done an evil act."
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَنْصِتْ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ
If you (even) ask your companion to be quiet on Friday while the Imam is delivering the sermon, you have in fact talked irrelevance.
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ أَنْصِتْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If you say to your companion: 'Be quiet and listen' when the imam is delivering the Khutbah, you have engaged in idle speech."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ أَنْصِتْ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever says to his companion on Friday, when the imam is delivering the khutbah: 'Listen attentively,' has engaged in idle talk."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ أَنْصِتْ فَقَدْ لَغَا
Abu Hurairah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'If you say to your companion: Listen attentively on a Friday when the Imam is delivering the khutbah, then you have engaged in idle talk.'"
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ أَنْصِتْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ
“If you say to your companions: ‘Be quiet’ on a Friday while the Imam is delivering the sermon, you have engaged in Laghw (idle talk or behaviour).”
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ أَنْصِتْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Even saying to your companion 'Listen' while the imam is giving the khutba on the day of jumua, is to speak foolishly."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ أَنْصِتْ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ
Abu Hurairah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'If you say to your companion: Listen attentively on a Friday when the Imam is delivering the khutbah, then you have engaged in idle talk.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1402)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ لِصَاحِبِهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ أَنْصِتْ فَقَدْ لَغَا
“If you say to your companions: ‘Be quiet’ on a Friday while the Imam is delivering the sermon, you have engaged in Laghw (idle talk or behaviour).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1110)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَنْصِتْ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ
When you tell (your brother on Friday) to be silent while the imam is giving the sermon you are guilty of idle talk. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1112)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ أَنْصِتْ فَقَدْ لَغَا»
Abu Hurairah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'If you say to your companion: Listen attentively on a Friday when the Imam is delivering the khutbah, then you have engaged in idle talk.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1402)
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ أَنْصِتْ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ»
[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "When you say to your companion, 'Be quiet on Friday', then you have already spoken frivolously about yourself."
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ أَنْصِتْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ عَلَيْكَ بِنَفْسِكَ
اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ إذا قلت لصاحبك أنصت فقد لغوت يعني يوم الجمعة

"إِذا قُلْتَ لصاحبِكَ والإمامُ يخطبُ يومَ الجمعِة أنْصِتْ فقدْ لغوْتَ" .
