[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the killing of dogs, then he said, "What is the matter with you and them?" He exempted the hunting dog and the sheepdog, and he said, "When a dog licks a utensil, wash it seven times, and the eighth time wash it with soil."

البيهقي:١١٨٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أنا أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ

أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَا لَكُمْ وَلَهَا فَرَخَّصَ فِي كَلْبِ الصَّيْدِ وَكَلْبِ الْغَنَمِ وَقَالَ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَاغْسِلُوهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ وَعَفِّرُوهُ الثَّامِنَةَ بِالتُّرَابِ

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that dogs be killed. He said: 'What do they have to do with dogs?' And he granted a concession regarding hunting dogs and sheepdogs. And he said: 'If a dog licks a vessel, wash it seven times, and rub it the eighth time with dust.' Abu Hurairah differed from him and said: 'Rub it one time with dust.'"

The Messenger of Allaah (sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) ordered the killing of the dogs, and then said: Why are they (people) after them (dogs)? and then granted permission (to keep) for hunting and for (the security) of the herd, and said : When the dog licks the utensil wash it seven times, and rub it with earth the eighth time. Abu Dawud said : Ibn Mughaffal narrated in a similar way.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ ordered the killing of dogs, then he said, "What is wrong with me and dogs?" He exempted the herding dog and the hunting dog.
