The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ قَالَ وَأَقْرَأَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي إِمْرَةِ عُثْمَانَ حَتَّى كَانَ الْحَجَّاجُ قَالَ وَذَاكَ الَّذِي أَقْعَدَنِي مَقْعَدِي هَذَا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The most superior among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ أَفْضَلَكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ

The best among you is he who learns and teaches the Qur'an.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ

from 'Uthman bin 'Affan that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The best of you is he who learns the Qur'an and teaches it." Abu 'Abdur-Rahman said: "So that is why I sit at this seat of mine." And he taught the Qur'an during the time of 'Uthman until Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf came. (Sahih)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَذَاكَ الَّذِي أَقْعَدَنِي مَقْعَدِي هَذَا وَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ فِي زَمَنِ عُثْمَانَ حَتَّى بَلَغَ الْحَجَّاجَ بْنَ يُوسُفَ

The Messenger of Allah said: (According to one of the narrators) Shu'bah (he) said: 'The best of you' (and according to) Sufyan (he) said: "The most excellent of you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ خَيْرُكُمْ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ أَفْضَلُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The most excellent of you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَفْضَلُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The best of you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it.' " 'Then he (Mus'ab) took me (the narrator) by the hand and made me sit here, and I started to teach Qur'an.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خِيَارُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ قَالَ وَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَأَقْعَدَنِي مَقْعَدِي هَذَا أُقْرِئُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The best of you are those who learn Qurʿan and teach it.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 1318)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ»

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "Indeed, the best among you are those who learn the Quran or teach it." He mentioned, "Recite Abu 'Abdul Rahman in the presence of 'Uthman bin 'Affan until Al-Hajjaj came." He said, "That is what fixed me in this position."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ خَيْرَكُمْ مَنْ عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ أَوْ تَعَلَّمَهُ» قَالَ «أَقْرَأَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي إِمْرَةِ عُثْمَانَ حَتَّى كَانَ الْحَجَّاجُ» قَالَ «ذَلكَ أَقْعَدَنِي مَقْعَدِي هَذَا»

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The best of you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it.' " 'Then he (Mus'ab) took me (the narrator) by the hand and made me sit here, and I started to teach Qur'an.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 213)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خِيَارُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ» قَالَ «فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي وأَقْعَدَنِي هَذَا الْمَقْعَدَ أُقْرِئُ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿThe best of you is the one who learns Qurʿan and teaches it.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَفْضَلُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ

[AI] "Whoever learns the Quran or teaches it."

«مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ أَوْ عَلَّمَهُ».

“The best of you are those who learn Qurʿan and teach it.ʿ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ»

“The best of you are those who learn Qurʿan and teach it.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 500)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ «خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ» وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ «أَفْضَلُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿThe best of you is the one who learns Qurʿan and teaches it.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 405)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَفْضَلُكُمْ مَنْ عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ ثُمَّ عَلَّمَهُ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿThe best of you is the one who learns Qurʿan and teaches it.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 405)

"أَفضَلكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقرآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ".

"إِنَّ من خيارِكم أَوْ أَفَاضِلَكُم، من تعلَّم القرآن وعلَّمه ".

"خِيَارُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآن وَعَلَّمَهُ".

"خيرُكم من تعَلَّمَ القرآن وعَلَّمَه".

" عَنْ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : خِيارُكم أَو أبْرَارُكُمْ أو أفَاضِلُكم مَن تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرآنَ وَعَلَّمه ".
