“The best of you are those who learn Qurʿan and teach it.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 500)   

الكبرى للنسائي:٧٩٨٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَسُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ «خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ» وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ «أَفْضَلُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ»

The Messenger of Allah said: (According to one of the narrators) Shu'bah (he) said: 'The best of you' (and according to) Sufyan (he) said: "The most excellent of you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it."
