ahmad:12478 – Ḥasan > Ibn Lahīʿah > Bukayr b. al-Ashaj > Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Abū Sulaym > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the prayer of two units in Mina, and Abu Bakr performed it as well. Umar also performed it in Mina as two units, and Uthman ibn Affan performed it as well in Mina as two units, for four years. Then, he completed it afterward.  

أحمد:١٢٤٧٨ – حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الصَّلَاةَ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلَّاهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلَّاهَا عُمَرُ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلَّاهَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ أَرْبَعَ سِنِينَ ثُمَّ أَتَمَّهَا بَعْدُ

malik:20-213 – Yaḥyá > Mālik > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father

Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed four raka prayers with only two rakas when at Mina, and that Abu Bakr prayed them at Mina with only two rakas, and that Umar ibn al-Khattab prayed them at Mina with only two rakas, and that Uthman prayed them at Mina with only two rakas for half of his khalifate, and then later completed them.  

مالك:٢٠-٢١٣ – وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الصَّلاَةَ الرُّبَاعِيَّةَ بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ صَلاَّهَا بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ صَلاَّهَا بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَنَّ عُثْمَانَ صَلاَّهَا بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ شَطْرَ إِمَارَتِهِ ثُمَّ أَتَمَّهَا بَعْدُ  

darimi:1917 – Muḥammad b. Yūsuf > al-Awzāʿī > al-Zuhrī > Sālim from his father

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed two units of prayer in Mina, Abu Bakr performed two units of prayer, Umar performed two units of prayer, and Uthman performed two units of prayer as well. All of this was at the beginning of his caliphate, and then he completed them afterwards.  

الدارمي:١٩١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَعُمَرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَعُثْمَانَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ صَدْرًا مِنْ إِمَارَتِهِ ثُمَّ أَتَمَّهَا بَعْدُ

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed two Rak'ahs in Mina, Abu Bakr prayed two Rak'ahs, Umar prayed two Rak'ahs, and Uthman prayed two Rak'ahs, leading from his position, and then completed them afterward.  

الدارمي:١٥٤٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِمِنًى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَعُمَرُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَعُثْمَانُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ صَدْرًا مِنْ إِمَارَتِهِ ثُمَّ أَتَمَّهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ»
