The Prophet ﷺ said: '"Whoever narrates a Hadith from me thinking it to be false, then he is one of the two liars." (Either the one who invents a lie or the one who repeats it; both are liars).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ حَدَّثَ عَنِّي حَدِيثًا وَهُوَ يُرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَاذِبَيْنِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: '"Whoever narrated a Hadith from me thinking it to be false, then he is one of the two liars."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ حَدَّثَ عَنِّي حَدِيثًا وَهُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَاذِبَيْنِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: '"Whoever narrates a Hadith from me thinking it to be false, then he is one of the two liars."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ حَدَّثَ عَنِّي بِحَدِيثٍ وَهُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَاذِبَيْنِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿWhoever narrates a hadeeth from me thinking it to be false, is the worst of liars.”

"مَنْ حَدَّثَ عنِّي بحَدِيثٍ وَهُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ، فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَذَّابِينَ".
