The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿWhoever narrates a hadeeth from me thinking it to be false, is the worst of liars.”
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ حَدَّثَ عَنِّي حَدِيثًا يُرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ فَهُوَ أَحدُ الْكَاذِبِينَ

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever narrates a Hadith from me which he knows is a lie, then he is one of the liars."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ حَدَّثَ عَنِّي حَدِيثًا وَهُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَاذِبِينَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَسَمُرَةَ
The Prophet ﷺ said: '"Whoever narrates a Hadith from me thinking it to be false, then he is one of the two liars." (Either the one who invents a lie or the one who repeats it; both are liars).
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ حَدَّثَ عَنِّي حَدِيثًا وَهُوَ يُرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَاذِبَيْنِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever narrates a hadith from me that he thinks is false, he is one of the liars or he said the falsehood spreaders."
