"I had a wife whom I loved, but my father disliked her, so he ordered me to divorce her but I refused. I mentioned that to the Prophet and he said: 'O Abdullah bin Umar! Divorce your wife.'"
كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ أُحِبُّهَا وَكَانَ أَبِي يَكْرَهُهَا فَأَمَرَنِي أَبِي أَنْ أُطَلِّقَهَا فَأَبَيْتُ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ طَلِّقِ امْرَأَتَكَ
A woman was my wife and I loved her, but Umar hated her. He said to me: Divorce her, but I refused. Umar then went to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him. The Prophet ﷺ said: Divorce her.
كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ وَكُنْتُ أُحِبُّهَا وَكَانَ عُمَرُ يَكْرَهُهَا فَقَالَ لِي طَلِّقْهَا فَأَبَيْتُ فَأَتَى عُمَرُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ طَلِّقْهَا
"I had a wife whom I loved, but my father hated her. 'Umar mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ and he ordered me to divorce her, so I divorced her."
كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ وَكُنْتُ أُحِبُّهَا وَكَانَ أَبِي يُبْغِضُهَا فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُطَلِّقَهَا فَطَلَّقْتُهَا
"I had a wife whom I loved, but my father disliked her, so he ordered me to divorce her but I refused. I mentioned that to the Prophet and he said: 'O Abdullah bin Umar! Divorce your wife.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1189)
كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ أُحِبُّهَا وَكَانَ أَبِي يَكْرَهُهَا فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُطَلِّقَهَا فَأَبَيْتُ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ طَلِّقِ امْرَأَتَكَ فَطَلَّقْتُهَا
[Machine] "I was under the authority of a woman whom I loved, but 'Umar disliked her. He commanded me to divorce her, but I refused. So, I went to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, Abdullah ibn 'Umar has a wife whom I hate, and I commanded him to divorce her, but he refused.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'O Abdullah, divorce your wife.' So, I divorced her."
كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ أُحِبُّهَا وَكَانَ عُمَرُ يَكْرَهُهَا فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُطَلِّقَهَا فَأَبَيْتُ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ عِنْدَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ امْرَأَةً كَرِهْتُهَا لَهُ فَأَمَرْتُهُ أَنْ يُطَلِّقَهَا فَأَبَى فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ طَلِّقِ امْرَأَتَكَ فَطَلَّقْتُهَا

[Machine] There was a woman under my authority whom I loved, but my father hated her, so he ordered me to divorce her, but I refused. Then, Umar mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Abdullah, divorce her."
كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ كُنْتُ أُحِبُّهَا وَكَانَ أَبِي يَكْرَهُهَا فَأَمَرَنِي بِطَلَاقِهَا فَأَبَيْتُ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ عُمَرُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا عَبْدَ اللهِ طَلِّقْهَا»
