نُعْمَى بِنْتُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to Nu'manah bint Ja'far, "Why is it that I do not see the bodies of the Banu Ja'far shining bright according to their father's status?" She replied, "No, but they are frequently affected by the evil eye. Shall I perform ruqyah on them?" He said, "Yes", so she presented some words to him that were acceptable, and he said, "Perform ruqyah on them."  

الطبراني:٢١٦٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ الْخَفَّافُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِنُعْمَى بِنْتِ جَعْفَرٍ مَا لِي أَرَى أَجْسَامَ بَنِي جَعْفَرٍ أَنْضَاءَ أَبِهِمْ حَاجَةٌ؟ قَالَتْ لَا وَلَكِنَّهُمْ تُسْرِعُ إِلَيْهِمُ الْعَيْنُ أَفَأَرْقِيهِمْ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ كَلَامًا لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ فَقَالَ ارْقِيهِمْ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ رَخَّصَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لآلِ حَزْمٍ فِي رُقْيَةِ الْحَيَّةِ وَقَالَ لأَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ مَا لِي أَرَى أَجْسَامَ بَنِي أَخِي ضَارِعَةً تُصِيبُهُمُ الْحَاجَةُ قَالَتْ لاَ وَلَكِنِ الْعَيْنُ تُسْرِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ ارْقِيهِمْ قَالَتْ فَعَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ ارْقِيهِمْ

[Machine] "He heard Jabir say that the Prophet ﷺ said to Asma bint Umays, 'What is the matter with your tribe, that they are frequently afflicted with misfortunes?' She replied, 'But do they get affected by the evil eye?' He asked, 'With what should I cure them?' So she presented him with methods, and he said, 'Perform ruqyah for them.'"  

أحمد:١٤٥٧٣ – حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِأَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ مَا شَأْنُ أَجْسَامِ بَنِي أَخِي ضَارِعَةً أَتُصِيبُهُمْ حَاجَةٌ؟ قَالَتْ لَاوَلَكِنْ تُسْرِعُ إِلَيْهِمُ الْعَيْنُ أَفَنَرْقِيهِمْ؟ قَالَ وَبِمَاذَا؟ فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ ارْقِيهِمْ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to Asma, "Why do I see the bodies of my brother's children weak and frail? Are they affected by something?" She replied, "No, but the evil eye quickly turns to them. Should I treat them?" He asked, "With what?" So I offered him some words that were harmless, and he said, "Yes, treat them."
