عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ

tabarani:20842 – Muḥammad b. Muḥammad al-Jadhūʿī > ʿUqbah b. Mukram > Abū ʿĀṣim > Ibn Jurayj > ʿAṭāʾ > Asmāʾ b. ʿUmays

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ looked at the children of Ja'far and said, "What is wrong with their bodies?" She (the mother) said, "Their eyes are drawn to them, so should I bring them to you (for treatment)?" He asked, "With what?" She offered him a word that was harmless, so he said, "Treat them."

الطبراني:٢٠٨٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَذُوعِيُّ ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَظَرَ إِلَى بَنِيهَا بَنِي جَعْفَرٍ فَقَالَ «مَا لِأَجْسَامِهِمْ ضَارِعَةً» فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ الْعَيْنَ تُسْرِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ أَفَأَرْقِيهِمْ؟ قَالَ «بِمَاذَا؟» فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ كَلَامًا لَيْسَ بِهِ بَأْسٌ فَقَالَ «ارْقِيهِمْ»

Should I treat them?" He asked, "With what?" So I offered him some words that were harmless, and he said, "Yes, treat them."

البيهقي:١٩٥٩٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَهْلٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرَوَيْهِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ خَنْبٍ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ أنبأ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِأَسْمَاءَ مَا لِي أَرَى أَجْسَامَ بَنِي أَخِي ضَارِعَةً؟ أَتُصِيبُهُمْ حَاجَةٌ؟ قَالَتْ لَا وَلَكِنِ الْعَيْنُ تُسْرِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ أَفَأَرْقِيهِمْ؟ قَالَ وَبِمَاذَا؟ فَعَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ كَلَامًا لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ ارْقِيهِمْ
