[Machine] I said, O Messenger of Allah, the evil eye tends to fall upon the children of Ja'far, should I seek protection for them? He replied, "Yes, seek protection for them, for if I were to say that anything could precede destiny, I would say that the evil eye precedes it."  

الطبراني:٢٠٨٤٣حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا عَوْنُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَابَيْهِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ الْعَيْنَ تُسْرِعُ إِلَى بَنِي جَعْفَرٍ أَفَأَسْتَرْقِي لَهُمْ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ فَاسْتَرْقِي لَهُمْ فَلَوْ قُلْتُ إِنَّ شَيْئًا يَسْبِقُ الْقَدَرَ لَقُلْتُ إِنَّ الْعَيْنَ سَبَقَتْهُ»

" I said: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Some of Ja'far's children have suffered from an accelerated case of the inflammation of the eye, so should I have them treated with Ruqyah?' He said: 'Yes,for indeed if there was anything that could overcome the Decree, then the evil eye would overcome it."
