Collected by Muslim, Nasāʾī, Ibn Mājah, Aḥmad, Ibn Ḥibbān, Ṭabarānī, SuyūṭīBakr reported that he had heard from the son of Mughira that verily the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution and wiped over his forehead and wiped over his turban and over his socks.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ وَعَلَى الْعِمَامَةِ وَعَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ
It was narrated from Ja'far bin 'Amr bin Umayyah Ad-Damri that his father saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing Wudu' and wiping over his Khuffs.
أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ
"I saw the Messenger of Allah wiping over his leather socks and turban."
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْعِمَامَةِ
أَنْ أَمْسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution (wudu) and wiped over his sandals.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ
ذِكْرُ الْإِبَاحَةِ لِلْمَرْءِ أَنْ يَمْسَحَ عَلَى عِمَامَتِهِ كَمَا كَانَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ سَوَاءً دُونَ النَّاصِيَةِ

«أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْعِمَامَةِ وَالْخُفَّيْنِ»
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ قَوْلَ سَلْمَانَ وَعَلَى خِمَارِهِ أَرَادَ بِهِ عَلَى عِمَامَتِهِ
