So, I slept and they slept, and we did not wake up until the sun rose on our heads. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the last among us to get up, so he performed ablution and the people prayed two Rak'ahs, then they prayed Fajr (the dawn prayer)."

He said, "How are you while one-third of it is for you?" They said, "That is even better." He said, "How are you while half of it is for you?" They said, "That is even better." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Paradise are divided into one hundred ranks, and you are among eighty ranks."

[Machine] Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of Hunayn. The people turned away from him, but I remained with him along with eighty migrants and Ansar. We were retreating, our backs towards them, for a distance of about eighty steps, and they did not catch up to us even though they were the ones upon whom Allah sent tranquility. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was riding his mule and it stumbled, causing him to lean forward. I held him up and said, "May Allah exalt your rank." He said, "Prolong a handful of clay for me." He then took it and threw it at their faces, and their eyes were filled with dust. He asked, "Where are the migrants and the Ansar?" I said, "They are right here." He said, "Call out to them." So I called out to them, and they came with their swords in their hands as if they were shooting stars. The polytheists turned and fled.

However, he eventually came riding on his mount, and when the worker saw him, he ran away.
