[Machine] Abdullah said, "Verily, it is a day that we used to fast before Ramadan."  

الطبراني:١٠٣٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى وَسُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَا ثنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ الْأَشْعَثَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ دَخَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ فِي يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ فَقَالَ

عَبْدُ اللهِ «إِنَّمَا هُوَ يَوْمٌ كُنَّا نَصُومُهُ قَبْلَ رَمَضَانَ»
