[Machine] I was among those whom Saad had ruled upon, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that "their fighters be killed and their children be taken captive." So, they brought me and I was not seen except that they would kill me. He revealed my condition and they saw that I did not come out, so they made me a captive.
[Machine] "I was among those whom Saad ruled over, and they doubted my ability to fight, questioning whether I belonged to the offspring or not. So they looked at my suffering and found that it had not emerged, and therefore they threw me into the offspring."
[Machine] "It was presented to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the time of the Quraish. Whoever of us had theft or committed adultery, their punishment would be death. They looked at me, but I did not commit adultery, so I was left alone."
[Machine] "I was in captivity, and I was presented along with other captives before the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , but they did not find me suitable, so I was sent away."
[Machine] "I was presented to the Prophet ﷺ on the Day of Quraizah, but they did not find me pubescent so they let me go."
[Machine] "I was one of those who were presented before the Prophet ﷺ on the day of the battle of Quraizah. They complained about me, so he looked at my chest where nothing grew, and he allowed me to go my own way."

[Machine] I heard a man in the Mosque of Kufa saying, "I was with Saad ibn Muadh on the day of the judgment of Banu Qurayza, I was a boy and they suspected me but they did not find any blemish on me so I was kept alive."
[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Indeed, Allah's wealth is a responsibility and trust.'"
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The upper hand is better than the lower hand."
[Machine] "I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a group from the Banu Saad, and I was the youngest among them. They left me behind with their belongings and came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to fulfill their needs. He asked, 'Is anyone left?' They replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah, a young boy is left with our belongings.' So he ordered them to call me, and I went to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'If Allah has given you something, do not ask people for anything, for the upper hand is the giving hand and the lower hand is the begging hand, and Allah is the one to be asked and the one who gives.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke to me in our language."
[Machine] About my grandfather Atiyyah, who had companionship, he said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, anger is from Shaytan, and Shaytan was created from fire, and the fire is only extinguished with water. So when one of you becomes angry, let him perform ablution."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the ruler becomes reckless, the devil gains control."
[Machine] He was among those whom the Prophet ﷺ spoke to on the day of the Battle of Hawazin. The Messenger of Allah said, "Your tribe, your lineage, and all the suckling mothers." He also said, "For this day, we have hidden you, along with your mothers, sisters, and aunts." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke to his companions and returned their captives to them, except for two men. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Go and give them a choice." One of them said, "I will leave him," and the other said, "I will not leave him." When the Prophet ﷺ turned away, he said, "He has shot his arrow well." He used to pass by the old virgin slave girl and the young boy and ignore them, until he passed by an old woman and said, "I will take her, for she is a living mother, and they depend on her as much as they are able." Atiyyah said, "Take her, O Messenger of Allah, as her mouth does not produce anything cold, nor does her breast produce anything sour, nor does she have a husband." The Prophet ﷺ raised his voice and said, "Take her, O Messenger of Allah, she is a pure captive, and no one has any rights to her." When no one saw her, he left her.
“A person will not reach the status of being one of those who have piety until he refrains from doing something in which there is no sin, for fear of falling into something in which there is sin.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4215)
19.4 Ikrimah from Abdullah b. Amr
[Machine] He came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as part of his tribe's delegation. When they entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "Has anyone else come to you besides you?" They said, "Yes, a young man from among us whom we left behind with our belongings." He said, "Send for him." When I entered upon him while they were with him, he greeted me and said, "Indeed, the one giving is the superior, and the one asking is the lower, and you should not ask for anything if you are self-sufficient, for indeed, Allah's wealth is not asked about and is abundant."
[Machine] A delegation from Thaqeef came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during Ramadan, so he set up a tent for them in the mosque. When they embraced Islam, they fasted with him.
[Machine] Ata, a man from the tribe of Shaybah, who was an elderly sheikh, narrated to me. He said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying at this place wearing two sandals."

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Meet the sandals."
[Machine] Asim ibn 'Adi ibn al-Jadd ibn al-'Ajlani went out to Badr, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned him and struck him with his arrow.
[Machine] Asim ibn Adiy ibn al-Jadd ibn Ajlan ibn Dhubay'ah, he is from the tribe of Bani 'Ubayd ibn Zaid ibn Malik ibn 'Awf ibn 'Amr ibn 'Awf ibn Malik ibn al-Aws. He went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to the Battle of Badr and he returned safely. It is said that the Prophet ﷺ appointed him as a deputy over Al-'Aaliyah and it is said that he lived for 115 years.
[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated that Malik said, and Ali ibn Abd al-Aziz narrated that al-Qa'nabi reported from Malik, from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm, from his father, from Abu al-Badah ibn Asim ibn Adi, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave permission to the owners of camels to throw stones during the days of sacrifice, then they throw stones the next day, and for two days after that, then they throw stones on the day of departure.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave permission to the shepherds of camels to let them roam free on the day of sacrifice, then restrain them for a day and a night, and then let them roam free again.
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted the owners of camels to take turns in slaughtering and throwing stones on the day of sacrifice, then they may leave.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina on Monday, twelve nights before the end of the month of Rabi' al-Awwal, and he stayed in Medina for ten years.
[Machine] He said: "We asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about two incidents: what has already happened and what is to come. He asked us, 'Where is the captive of the flood?' We said, 'We do not know.' Then a man from the Bani Sulaim tribe passed by me, and I asked him, 'Where have you come from?' He said, 'From the captive of the flood.' So I called my sandals and they raced towards the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you asked us about the captive of the flood, and we said we do not know. But this man passed by me and claimed that he has his family with him.' So the Messenger of Allah asked him, 'Where are your family?' He replied, 'In the captive of the flood.' The Messenger of Allah said, 'Take your family out of it, as soon there will be a fire coming out of it that will illuminate the necks of the camels in Busrah.'"
[Machine] I bought myself and my brother one hundred arrows from the arrows of Khaybar. Then the Prophet ﷺ was informed about it, and he said, "O Asim, two wild wolves have attacked a flock of sheep, and their owner has lost it due to the excessive love of wealth and honor for his religion."

[Machine] He was with the Messenger of Allah when this verse was revealed: "Then they did not bring four witnesses." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, how can they bring four witnesses when the traitor has achieved his goal?" He said, "He did not even sit until his cousin, the brother of his father, came with his wife carrying a baby and she said, 'He is yours.' But he said, 'He is not mine." Then the verse of cursing was revealed and I was the first to talk about it and to be afflicted with it.

[Machine] Ibn Ishaq narrated, "Regarding the naming of those who witnessed the Battle of Badr from the Ansar, Asim ibn Thabit ibn Qais ibn al-Aflah ibn Isma'ah ibn Malik ibn Umayyah ibn Sa'sa'ah ibn Zaid ibn Malik ibn Awf ibn Amr ibn Awf."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ sent ten men as scouts and appointed Asim bin Thabit Al-Ansari as their leader. This was mentioned by his tallness.

[Machine] Umar ibn Al-Khattab sent a request for help with some charity, but the person refused to assist him. Then he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'On the Day of Resurrection, the command will be given to the guardian of Hell to place a bridge over it. Then the bridge will command and shake, causing every bone to fall from its place. Then Allah will command the bones to return to their places and then interrogate them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was delivering a sermon on his pulpit when a man stood up and took his son's hand and took him out of the mosque. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "May Allah curse the leader and the guided one. Woe to this nation from a person named so and so who has done such and such on this day."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say to his army or expedition, "If you see a mosque or hear the call to prayer, do not kill anyone." So the Prophet ﷺ sent us on an expedition and ordered us with that. We set out through the Tihama land and came across a man who was selling goods. We presented Islam to him and asked, "Are you a Muslim?" He replied, "What is Islam?" We explained it to him, but he was not familiar with it. He said, "If I do not accept, what will you do?" We said, "We will kill you." He asked, "Are you waiting for me until I finish selling my goods?" We replied, "Yes, we are waiting for you." So he went out and there was a woman in a chamber. He said to her, "Embrace Islam, Hubysh, before our means of sustenance are cut off." She replied, "I will embrace Islam ten times or nine times, one after the other." Then he said...
