عَطِيَّةُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيُّ

[Machine] A delegation from Thaqeef came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during Ramadan, so he set up a tent for them in the mosque. When they embraced Islam, they fasted with him.  

الطبراني:١٤٥٧٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

«قَدِمَ وَفْدٌ مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَضَرَبَ لَهُمْ قُبَّةً فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَمَّا أَسْلَمُوا صَامُوا مَعَهُ»
