[Machine] "I was among those whom Saad ruled over, and they doubted my ability to fight, questioning whether I belonged to the offspring or not. So they looked at my suffering and found that it had not emerged, and therefore they threw me into the offspring."  

الطبراني:١٤٥٦٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ

«كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ حَكَمَ عَلَيْهِ سَعْدٌ فَشَكُّوا فِيَّ أَمِنَ الْمُقَاتِلَةِ أَنَا أَمْ مِنَ الذُّرِّيَّةِ فَنَظَرُوا إِلَى عَانَتِي فَوَجَدُوهَا لَمْ تَطْلُعْ فَأَلْقُونِي فِي الذُّرِّيَّةِ»

ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الدَّالِّ عَلَى أَنَّ الصِّبْيَانَ إِذَا قَاتَلُوا، قُوتِلُوا

[Machine] "I was among those who Saad bin Muadh made a judgement about. They had doubts about the safety of their descendants, whether it was from me or from the fighters. So they looked at my belly and did not find any signs of pregnancy. So I was cast into the tribe, and I was not killed."  

ابن حبّان:٤٧٨٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ قَالَ

«كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ حَكَمَ فِيهِمْ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ فَشَكُّوا فِيَّ أَمِنَ الذُّرِّيَّةِ أَنَا أَمْ مِنَ الْمُقَاتِلَةِ فَنَظَرُوا إِلَى عَانَتِي فَلَمْ يَجِدُوهَا نَبَتَتْ فَأُلْقِيتُ فِي الذُّرِّيَّةِ وَلَمْ أُقْتَلْ»
