عَاصِمُ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَفْلَحِ وَيُقَالُ: ابْنُ الْأَفْلَحِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَمَى الدَّبَرَ، بَدْرِيٌّ، قُتِلَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ sent ten men as scouts and appointed Asim bin Thabit Al-Ansari as their leader. This was mentioned by his tallness.  

الطبراني:١٤٥٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَسِيدِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ حَلِيفِ بَنِي زُهْرَةَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

«بَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَشَرَةَ رَهْطٍ عَيْنًا وَأَمَّرَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَاصِمَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ جَدَّ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو» ذَكَرَهُ بِطُولِهِ
