[Machine] "Woe to you, O Ash'ab! Do not ask, for indeed my father narrated to me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said, 'There will come a people on the Day of Judgment whose faces will not have a single mark of flesh that they had created.'"

His father looked at him while he was heading toward the man and said, "Do you see him doing it?" He replied to him twice or three times, but when he went out with him, Salim asked him, "Did you perform the morning prayer?" He replied, "Yes." Salim said, "Then take any path you want." Then, he came and threw the sword, and Al-Hajjaj said to him, "Did you behead him?" He replied, "No." Al-Hajjaj asked, "And why not?" He replied, "Because I heard my father saying that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'Whoever performs the morning prayer, he is under the protection of Allah until evening'." So, Ibn Umar said, "Makis (a nickname), we named you Salim so that you will be safe."
[Machine] Al-Hajjaj said to him, "What prevented you from killing him?" Salim replied, "My father informed me that he heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, 'Whoever prays the Fajr prayer is in the protection of Allah throughout his day.' So I disliked killing a man whom Allah has protected." Al-Hajjaj then asked Ibn 'Umar, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ?" Ibn 'Umar replied, "Yes."
